Thanks! Water temp gauge was not accurate, the engine was hot and the same engine still works fine. I did not kill it since 2006 :)

the higher the revs, the less power, it was designed to limit engine power at high revs, hence that popping effect - as less fuel is supplied in wider bursts.

3-4 ejha.. Nem emlékszem, gyári áttételekkel megy a váltó? F20? F18? Durván harap 3 ban még, ha nem volt 1-2 helyen 2 be vissza dobva, és 3-as volt amit néztem.. Rendesen irigykedem.. 🥰

Igen, ez végig 3-4 fokozat. F16 C3,94 van benne már elég rég. Hála egy barátomnak, már kábeles kulisszával :) De kellene egy rövidebb (4.18 diffi), mert ez is feleslegesen hosszú, főleg a magasabb fordulatszám miatt. Ne irigykedj, próbáld ki valamikor :)

áááá.. estig tudnám nézni.. de akkor nem haladok a mai napra kitűzött dolgaimmal :D :( Kellenek ezek a videók. Egyre jobban ott az elhatározás, hogy eladom az öreg vasat, mert most is csak áll a ház elött, megint van némi gyíkja, amit panel elött nehéz orvosolni, a régi megbízható szerelőm már nem foglalkozik velük... és ott az ST mellette napi használatosnak.. Lakatolni is kellene, fényezni, beltért rendbe rakni, motor térbe a pollenszűrő alá, a ventire-be tavaly egy patkány beköltözött, szétrágott pár dolgot, lehet nem ártana közép boxot kiszedni, ki takarítani, fertőtleníteni, lóg a tető kárpit, szakadt az ülés, a klíma csak súly, évek óta nem megy.. A motor is köhög, de ha megcsinálnám a benzin csövet, mai napig menne.. közel 300 e bontattlan moci.. 20 éve nálam.. És a feeling.. az nagyon más, mint a ST-ben.. pláne, ha igy meg lenne okosítva, mint a tied.. nagyon "ideges" a paripa! Gratula hozzá! Szerelmes vagyok :D

Köszi Laci! Ennyi idősen már van pár nyűgjük az biztos. Azt gondolom, hogy szinte minden része jól karbantartható, de a karosszériák igyekeznek elpusztítani önmagukat - nem sok példány fog maradni. Aránytalanul sok pénzt kell beleölni, hogy az ember sose akarjon megválni tőle :) Remélem a Tied is talpraáll egyszer.

Thanks! This is why I only wrote 140kmh instead of 150kmh from the speedo. BTW the gearbox is F16 C3.55. So it is more or less fine.

This Catcams camshaft is designed to use with hydro lifters on standard valve train. This is in the upper range that can be used on a standard setup.

Hi! Catcams with 10,95mm was a lot better also was a bit harder to dial in but the car got quicker (of course measured). I recommend it over the 272 dBilas or even bigger cams. Lately I had a special grind on the inlet side over 300degree@0,1mm and peak lift 11,3mm with Schrick springs and was even better. Edit: now I have Supertech 34mm inlet valves waiting to be fitted... we will see how it goes/sounds.

@@motorsmeden No, Catcams were designed to use with original springs. I think this is the biggest you can have with std ones. I have never dynoed it, I don't really care. Acceleration measurements is what I use for fine tuning and thus the torque curve. BTW the car with full interior does 80-120kmh 4,4sec in 3rd gear (std 5,5-6s) and 3,8sec with a gear shift (measured with proper accelerometer multiple times). E46 M3 standard is about 3,6sec, so you can have an idea by that.

Szia! Az, hogy nem tudod gyári computerrel 7400rpm fölé forgatni. Ki kell cserélni a kvarcot az ECU-ban, csak úgy lehetséges. Viszont tovább forgatva 1-2tizeddel gyorsabb a kocsi, mert a teljesítmény még nem esik.
