Thank you so much! Literally I have been all day trying to use quarto using Jupyterlab and VsCode, but I was able to get up and running in 5 minutes watching your video series. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the video! How can I share this book in HTML format without issues? When I am sharing rendered Quarto Book "index.html" (Which contains 13 Quarto documents) they only see index.html preface and then getting an error about other files. How can I fix it?

Thanks for the video ! How do you delete the right sidebar for example in the preface tab ?

Thanks, super video, how do you get the 'include this' qmd file you created to appear as a chapter in the rendered book?
@adamsantone_phd10 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, I should have added that file to the .yml file. So, add "- include_this.qmd" to that list of files in there maybe between the intro and summary. :)

Awesome video. How would you say quarto compares to using other R packages such as bookdown? Thanks for the content!
@adamsantone_phd10 ай бұрын
You're welcome and thanks for watching! Quarto is a big update. Posit states "Quarto combines the functionality of R Markdown, bookdown, distill, xaringian, etc into a single consistent system with “batteries included” that reflects everything we’ve learned from R Markdown over the past 10 years." quarto.org/docs/faq/rmarkdown.html

Adam, thanks for taking the time to introduce us to this nice application of quarto docs. I jumped into these quarto docs right away for their ease and quality. Would also like to see a few more templates available. For now, your video gave me a great head start. Thanks again.

How do you get the new qmd file to be included in the rendered book?
@adamsantone_phd Жыл бұрын
The .qmd file isn't in the book itself. That's the source code file.

Hey me again, i will make some suggestions on your channel: 1- Talk like you are sure the thing you are talking about, more energetic. (I'm not telling that you are not sure about it, but you sound like it some parts, just a suggestion) 2- When editing you can remove the "ahh" "umm" sounds, or make these parts a little more silent. As far as i know there are softwares to do it automatically. Also you can try to stay silent instead of using the "umm" "ahh" sounds, this is better for irl speeches and also videos. Great videos but can be much better, keep it going! 👍

Thanks for the feedback! That was an oversight on my part for sure since I'm still learning this new-to-me video editing software. My latest videos have the vocal track output going to L and R channels. It *looked* like it was rendering stereo but I had the wrong settings. Thanks for watching!
