Your cakes look yummy so far. It’ll be fun watching you decorate them in a future video. Watching Jack hop holding onto the shopping cart was cute. And the pink plastic eggshell….mmm…quite different! Great memories for the kids.

I wish I had a freeze dryer when I was moving from NJ to CA and had to discard all my frozen breastmilk 🥲 (donating was not an option since they were a little old (around 6-8 months old). I want to see more freeze drying content! either making it or re-hydrating it, looks pretty cool!

I might have missed this, but which Costco egg are you using? For a fair side-by-side comparison, shouldn't you use the organic pasture raised eggs from Costco against your pasture eggs?

How can you tell which eggs are from which chickens?

We initially had 4 hens (of the same breed) and I could never tell their eggs apart. But when we introduced new hens we got different looking eggs - so it was easy to deduce. Also, when purchasing chicks, you are told what their eggs will likely look like (color and size). Now, I can’t tell which black hen laid which crème colored egg. I would have to have a camera in the nesting box to know for sure. When our Easter eggers start laying, I might be able to tell which blueish egg comes from the black and white bird as opposed to the brown and black hens if there is an obvious “odd egg out.” Expect a video on our Easter egger eggs when the hens start laying!

@@LimabeanLivingah ok, gotcha! I know nothing about chickens or any farm animal for that matter, but I always learn so much when I watch your videos. I’d love to have a small farm myself, but I’d need to do a LOT of research! I’d also need to buy a house in the country first. 😂

Thanks for clearly explaining about praying to saints. Saint Anthony has helped me find several things in places, like you said, I previously looked. As for Jack going down the airplane aisle, everyone will have their own opinion on what they witness. As long as he didn’t bother anyone or do damage, then allowing him to roam around would have been cute to watch. And if anyone would have complained, the flight attendant should have said she allowed it. You’d be off the hook! Another great video Emily.

Fun fact! I worked for the Sister's of Charity in Mother Margaret Hall (nursing home) in Cincinnati as a nurse caring for them in their last years. Their stories were so very interesting and their chapels were beautiful. I went to private school and never knew as a kid the soc were teaching me until I was in my late 30s caring for them! I took care of my principal's blood sister at the end of her life! Talk about full circle!! I hope you enjoyed your trip! I enjoyed the videos for sure!
