What is the taxi pricing compared to the US? Is it better to take a taxi than an Uber?

I thought the taxi pricing was similar to the US. I haven’t used Uber in Japan but people said they are more expensive. Taxis are so ubiquitous in Japan metro areas anyways you’d forget about Uber lol

Almost all do but only at specific entrances so it potential ads time to consider. Also Taxis are fine for 1-2 bags but you should book a van for 2+ with luggage. Hotels also transfer luggage usually in one day unless holidays increase delivery times.

Good luck trying to find elevators especially if you are in smaller stations outside of the major cities like Tokyo. I’ve had to haul my heavy luggages up the multitude of stairs. Not fun! Yes you can also have the hotel transfer your luggages. I did that before as well but only for like if I’m going to say from Tokyo to Osaka. Not worth it if you are changing hotel within a city which is what I meant in this video.

The Thailand Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) does not require a specific monthly salary limit, but you must demonstrate financial stability with a bank balance of at least 500,000 THB. Regarding the duration of stay, the DTV permits holders to remain in Thailand for up to 180 days per entry. This period can be extended once for an additional 180 days, allowing a total stay of up to 360 days without the need to exit the country. After this period, you are required to leave Thailand but may re-enter to begin a new cycle. I would suggest contacting the Royal Thai Embassy in your country for confirmation: thaiembassy.org/
