It’s about the same price more or less. One good tip though is buying food souvenirs after immigration so you wouldn’t have to think about carrying them around while roaming the airport. You should have ample time to shop if you line up early to check in your baggage. Hope that helps ☺️

There are several famous shopping streets in Japan, notably in Kyoto and Okayama. The Osu Kannon district, centered around the temple is unique in a couple of ways. Even though there are the same fresh items, there are used items. It has a kind of “Book Off” feel to it. More a flea market than the others. Also, the proximity of the Temple makes it a wonderful outing for the kids!
