Although the accuracy of the artilleries may be what you intended, if you want your barrage to be more accurate, using one of your pawn with high shooting skills as spotter will greatly increase the accuracy of the artillery barrage. (CE has a binocular that when equipped and "fired" at enemies, the target become marked and the artillery that attacks that target use the spotter's shooting skill to calculate barrage accuracy instead of the operator of the artillery. It also removes forced miss radius, so if your spotter has 20 in shooting, you have pinpoint accuracy no matter which pawn is currently operating the artilleries.)

Using mortars is for pussies. Whats the point of using combat extended if you're still using a vanilla mortar to kill the raid? at that point just send 1 single antigrain and you can have your colonists remain in the kitchen to eat their meals lol. if you want real combat extended, you have to additionally get that one mod that separates the raids into squads and allows for raiders to carry their fallen comrades (I believe it was the fog of war mod).

Did you use default combat extended setting or did you tweak it a bit? I swear i see the bullet moves slight bit faster and also seems more realistic than my playthrough for some reason

Thats the most DayZ video i ever seen. We farm tons of equipment just to go to a really specific area, and when we arrive there we're greated with a huge amount of nothingness just to die in the most miserable way ever. Great video my friend, DayZ is rough sometimes.

Always go AP ammo in CE, will save you from painful fights like this. Pick weapons with higher AP value ammo (ammo with higher armor piercing numbers) to deal with mechanoids. Same for the turrets as well with depleted uranium ammo if I can, puts mechs down much faster. The ammo cost is significantly higher but if you get the first shots off you can easily win disadvantaged battles.

How did the bugs get knocked out inside the room? My turrets are never able to kill any insects at all..
