That was one of the features that drew me towards this keyboard. It's also cool that it's not overpoweringly realistic and it still has some stapel PSR type sounds like that agogo and a few other percussion type sounds. One good thing about the release of Genos 2 almost a year ago is that the price of all previous flagship keyboards has gone down and Tyros 5 is now under £2000 which is a lot cheaper compared to a couple of years ago so maybe at some point in the next few years I might reconsider getting a Tyros 5 if I still want one but I'm not sure it's the right type of keyboard for recording backing tracks.

The tyros 4 has this feature as well. And it autotunes your voice, so dont worey if you cant sing lol. You do need to set the vocal harmoniser up though to work with your voice otherwise it can sound weird

I have a strange problem with the sustain pedal - its plugged info the sustain1 and also marked as 'sustain' in the menu however it basically moves up the registrations instead of sustaining the played notes :( How about it?

Hi my sustain pedal won't sustain on my sx900. Tried several pedals and switched polarity. All no good. Think I'm on wrong settings as it triggered a new style when pressed. Help needed before suicide 😢

Hi .I lost all of my memory registration instruments that I manual installed on the buttons 1 to 10. I have got Tyros 5 and Pers-950 , which is close to SX900 and in my opinion the man who presents his biased opinions is basically wrong about most of his opinions. If you ever tried to use the touch screen during a live performance, you manów what I am talking about. One wrong touch and you are lost, shot in the flames.

This video was so helpful, thank you! If you have the chance, would you be willing to demonstrate how to go back into a song that was already recorded and saved, to edit it and add more layers? A friend who leads music in their church has this keyboard, and the previous worship leader recorded songs into it for them to use, but he's accidentally deleted some of the layers and needs me to go back in and re-add them. I have no clue what I'm doing! I would appreciate any advice you can offer. Thank you! ☺️

Just go into the mixing console and turn the filter brightness down to -64. I do this with many of the voices. Much softer and romantic sound. Jenny

This is the most awful angle of the camera that you have create this video. Couldn't you find a better angle to position your camera. It is not known that the display is on your keyboard screen.

That was very easy to follow. However I have a question. I have tried to solve this problem myself using manuals and videos but nothing is working. What I wish to do is See a video Loading Genos2 playlist to a flash drive from the website after doing that, do I open the file folders before transfering it tothe USB FLASH DRIVE & the genos2? When I try to transfer all 1630 files to the Genos2 it will not prompt me with the same window as the genos 1. However I have followed the prompts on the keyboard screen which are not the same as in the video. I am only able to copy and when I copy elsewhere in the User section of the Genos2 it says it is there but remove the stick and it is gone saying all 90 files of this catagory are gone file didn't load. Can you make a video on the Genos2 please showing exactly where I should go when transferring USB files to the Genos2. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I would appreciate that so much.

Hi David and Chris I'm a long-time user of the PSR 630 keyboard. I have now purchased a Tyros 5 workstation. I think it is a good musical instrument. I am still discovering its new possibilities. Can you please help me with the following question? If I play a song with some preset style, I have the possibility to change the VOICE registers in my right hand quickly thanks to my OTS setting and the PART SELECT buttons. Is there any possibility that also the song has settings for the right-hand registers saved with the possibility to quickly select from the preset registers, e.g. using the OTS buttons? Or do I have to store each song in the register memory with the PART SELECT preset and use another register memory for each additional VOICE register? Of course, there is the possibility that I select the appropriate register memory with the preset registers for the selected song, that means, I have to have a note which register memory to select. In addition, this requires the use of two buttons - song selection and register memory selection. I find this very complicated for such a high quality instrument.
