I am so glad it isn't, that would have ruined the franchise. Fallout is imo bigger than elder scrolls now . Starfeild was an attempt to make another ip but failed.

Fun fact. The flight mechanics are the same code as the dragon flight mechanics in skyrim. They wanted you to be able to pilot your own dragon but never got there. Vertiberds in fallout 4 crash towards you because it's the same programming. More than a decade later and they still haven't figured it out

Which is sad I really hope Bethesda gets rid of this engine even Cdpr who’s engine is incredible had to get rid of it due to the limitations, they also broke their entire engine building Cyberpunk 2077. Bethesda really needs to move on from Creation kit
