I did the same exact thing an my Hero died. WTF there is no explanation as to why that's happening.

It is possible that a top level player decided to "temporarily" store his troops at the oasis for a few moments or seconds if a surprise attack was coming at all his villages not knowing which one was the real attack, noticed at the last minute, and didn't want to lose troops or if he had a sitter watching his account and the sitter wasn't 100% sure what to do. This is very rare to happen but it is possible. The player would have pulled his troops back as soon as the attack was over. (Probably the player closest to the oasis). Was just bad luck.

That was on the North side of the Lake closer to Main Beach. I was filming from the gates beach on the other side of the lake.

i do have to say that i am proud of the city of albany cleaning up what was becoming a mess and turning there downtown area into a nicer pace..its good to see peoples tax money isn't going to waste..good job you guys :-)
