Mine makes same noise but seems more exaggerated than yours. It’s a 2024 and didn’t initially do it. The noise started at about 35 hours. Seems to keep working though. It certainly doesn’t sound normal at all.

How is Beta compared with GasGas carbed and Rieju? I have early model of GasGas and Beta, but Beta is waaay smooth, higher torque in low rpm and better for hard enduro...
@Steveman61Ай бұрын
The 2019 GasGas with carb is a great bike. Only downside is its shitty starter system. Quality wise it is way better than the Beta who has horrible electrics and super brittle plastic parts. The Beta handles easier, the GG is more stable. Both engines have identical power and grunt so hard to say which one is stronger.
@2WheelDernessАй бұрын
@@Steveman61 03 GG compared with 2023 Beta, is night and day difference, especially in how easy is to work on the bike, I can clearly see the optimisations. But guess the Rieju is similar now... GG was super reliable however, the engine is bulletproof...

Although it sounds horrible it is pretty normal. It is a combination of wafer thin engine covers and the for 2017 new design of the gears inside the engine. Mine did it for 140 hours and I never had a problem. The new owner sold it with a total of 250 hours and had no problems either,

Hello! How do you like the Beta compared to your GasGas? Im riding an EC300 2019 myself, Great bike !
@Steveman61 Жыл бұрын
They are both very good bikes. Equally strong, the Beta is more aggressive and is steering quicker, the GasGas is easier to ride in the technical stuff due to its very torquey and less aggressive engine.Both have very good suspension from KYB, the rear shock on the gasGas is better in my opinion. I can grab the Gasgas better with my legs. Overall both are great bikes, I can really not say which one is better. If I had decide in one second I think I'd keep the GasGas.

It is just the disengaged starter motor which keeps spinning. Try to hold the starter button not as long and check if the noise gets less.
@Steveman61 Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate, yes if I hold the button just short it gets less but doesn't go away entirely. Friends say they also have it. Noise just made me nervous because I thought the starter gears or something gets damaged.

The balancer gear break, and dammage the primary gear and the valve system gear to. I don't no how this happend, but when y check the left side engine ( ignition), the balancer hit the rotor ignition at every rotations. Maybe it's the reason i don't now.

@Steveman614 жыл бұрын
Really understand you but it is no reason to worry. I was so scared that I brought the bike right back to the dealer. He took two other brand new bikes, a 250 and a 300 and they both were as noisy as mine. It has several reasons. The engine covers are wafer thin hence keep no noise inside. The newer bikes have -so they said- one or two gears less and the clutch is due to its construction making a lot of noise. I rode the bike for 150 hours and the noise remained the same and the new owner also says all is good after over 300 hours :-)

@Steveman615 жыл бұрын
Dont't worry. It has 104 hours now and worked flawless so far. I had the impression that the noise got even a bit louder over time but it seems to be pretty normal. In the meantime I have met so many other riders and they all report the engine to be noisy. KTM said its due to less gears giving the clutch the possibility to tumble a bit. Also the wafer thin engine covers dont damp much noise.
