I bought Pierburg boost solenoids and it absolutely cured my overboosting 30FE limp mode. I unbolted my coolant reservoir and vacuum canisters pushed them to the side and had easy access to the 10mm bolts (no coolant draining)of the solenoids. Im on MHD Stage 1+ but this issue started before I was tuned. Boost solenoids can also remedy 30FF low boost limp mode.

I just changed the radiator on mine and put everything back on, closed the hood, only to see that passenger side latch is not releasing when I try to open the bonnet. Saw a video of a guy going through the wheel well to get to the cable in the engine bay. Looks like I will need to give that a try.

The answer is no. Mines got 155k. In the last 15k miles I’ve had about 20k worth of shit go out. And stuff KEEPS going bad.
