I just spent two months on Mazatlan. Frankly it was very easy going and I went everywhere on the bus and never felt any bad vibes walking around even at night. There is little worry about violent crime or muggings. On the other hand if you buy drugs and hang out with the wrong people you can find trouble.

@@tenniswilliam Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate you letting us know how it went for you there. Is it mainly seafood only, in Mazatlan? Because I don't wanna move somewhere with only seafood as the main option (shrimp, crab, lobster.)

Americans are misinformed, if they think Mexico would dry up and blow away without American tourist, not only is Mexico a worldwide destination, it also has a large Mexican tourist population, vacationing in there own country, Mexico is a lot more then Avocado, tourist and drugs

Land of the Issacharite.. Emperor Cuauhtemoc's Last Mandate "Our Sun has gone down. Our Sun has been lost from view and has left us in complete darkness. But we know it will return again that it will rise again to light us anew. But while it is there in the Palace of Silence Let's join together, let's embrace each other and in the very center of our being hide all that our hearts love and we know is the Great Treasure. Let us hide our Temples our schools, our sacred game our youth centers our houses of flowery song so that only our streets remain. Our homes will enclose us until our New Sun rises. Most honorable fathers and most honorable mothers, may you never forget to guide your young ones teach your children, while you live how good it has been and will be. Until now our beloved Anahuac sheltered and protected our destinies that our ancestors and our parents enthusiastically received and seeded in our being. Now we will instruct our children how to be good. They will raise themselves up and gain strength and as goodness make real their great destiny in this, our beloved mother Anahuac."

Great. Great..but why..moving south..if you are retired and worked earning a misery throughout your working years..you're not going to get what you need to survive..I wonder if some of you are among those who cowardly spoke badly about mexico and now becoming a expat feel that you'll find a nice place..why..because in the estates you have to pay your rent bills rent is 900 to 1200.a month bills 300 you get 1600 a month. To survive and if you don't pay your rent guest what. Bridges are waiting ...hello..now mexico is the solution..we are brothers we share miles and miles of border they come to work in the USA you want to retire in a decent place where you can sleep comfortably and enjoy the golden years so ..love and do not despite the brown skin we are brothers and together we can achieve the highest quality of life. Working in usa dying in mexico

Nah, he is doing a good job, but the opposition is not letting him work. He's said some dumb stuff, and he's handled the drug war inefficiently, but he's got the right project, we need to focus on the public inversion and the poorest people. He's been paving hundreds of roads in the southern states, he's working in very interesting projects with a lot of potential, fiscal policies could have been better, but then again they can help the middle classes, but they would kill the poorest, so I understand why it remained unchanged. He's got a project, he's acting according to it so it is evident he and his team know what they are doing, and it is a correct approach. Though as I said the opposition is holding him back, and the pandemic was very unfortunate.

Just for your information I hate when you produce a documentary and won’t kill the so called music. The do called music always dominates the sound and makes it difficult to pay attention to the narrator! But a professional editor would have known this. That’s the reason I’m not subscribing and leaving a thumbs down.

The grass is always greener. The DOWNSIDE does not show up--until it shows up. I'm NOT saying it is not a good deal, but like all things, there is a downside; best research BOTH before deciding to make that big a move. Look, you may still chose to go, but you may have heard the old saying "look before you leap". That applies, I've been there many times, but there are two sides of life in Mexico, if you are impulsive--and many, maybe most of us ARE impulsive, it may pay you to really think it through, both pros AND cons, not just the pros. AND, it also matters, very much WHERE in Mexico you go, it's a big place, and no, it isn't all the same. DO YOUR RESEARCH, THEN DECIDE.
