Considering the ACS 900 is currently 13k and yours is just over 7 i would say yours is a better deal. did yall leave the doors off because the ACS900 had a few fires relating to fumes trapped?

Is the basket made by plastic? what is the maxim temperature that the basket can resist?

Hi Don. Your email was in my spam folder. Please contact me directly at [email protected] in the future. All the cleaning baskets and carrier are made of nylon which has a softening temperature of 374°F (190°C). We limit our dryer temperature to about 160 F (70 C).

Why is the vertical axis so slow?

Well, on some machines the thing slams down so quick it can break the jar if it gets misaligned. Maybe they're trying to keep the fluid from lifting parts off the bottom of the baskets and sloshing around?
