It won’t be anywhere near the 4090 in raw performance. It only has 6144 cuda cores. The 4090 has 3 times that. I just really think Jensen is talking about it being faster with DLSS 4.

+5 is very different. The affix is a damage gain for you, mobs has very low health and those two classes have the highest burst dps in the game. So obviously they're gonna do high dps in a +5 😂 with that said i still believe mages needs some love

In AOE you just 1x Blast to proc magi´s spark - everything else you buff aethervision with NP and send barrages. In ST yes you can min max by switching one blast with Barrage and take the 10% Barrage DMG.

Did you end up figuring out how to improve your damage? I am in the same boat as arcane spellslinger, around 1.5-1.6 is the most I can do overall. I am getting smoked by melee 1.8-2.0m overall, is that just the ceiling for arcane?

@erikszilagyi5606 yes i spent lots of time comparing my logs with other mages what they cast and when. Speaking for myself: i had problems with splinterstorm uptime not consuming nether precision procs alot. Or even tab targeting. And splinterstorm amplifies your dmg output. Also lots of mages take clearcastings into next pack for small windows to guarantee better ToTm windows. Run low +10 keys and just log it - conpare your runs with better logs - then you will improve.

You actively track it in that weak aura you have? I think my main struggle has been with choosing when to use cooldowns, not knowing which pack to specifically use them on if that makes sense.

@erikszilagyi5606 no i don't track that but you see it in warcraft logs where uptime on splinterstorm should be as low as possible. Which means you trigger it more often. No i just search for another key run about the same time and pick a random mage who has 90 + log :) AND IMPORTANT: if you didn't pay attention to splinterstorm i highly recommend studying the spec tree because this is our no.1 damage by far in this build :)

Tbh its just the state of the arcane. Seems like 1,5m overall is pretty good in terms of solid performance avg overall. 1.7 is high atm without aug. Arcane just doesnt rly deal much dmg atm, mostly on aoe.

@@jalalkm-x7z there is a WA but i would not recommend it. Ju spam Barrage if you get 4 charges back or if you can back charges with orb. This takes a lot of practice and time to master because every cooldown window you press your abilities based on RNG

@@jalalkm-x7z have you compared your logs with other mages in the same mythic dungeons? I recommend that. I cannot tell you in what situations you are struggling - but i can tell you if (seriously) take 1 hours really comparing 95+ LOG runs with yours i´m sure you will find the root cause of your problems. Start with Casts/perminute , Clearcasting consumin, Splinterstorm Uptime - check when other Mages use their cooldowns at specific time markers and and and and and. :D

Heyy! An Arcane Mage here, looking at your rotation, you lose around 2-3% of Dps on following thing: When Pressed Arcane missles, uusing both stacks of NP, you gain two stacks of the new idk the name talent top right of the arcane tree and boost your barrage. But instead of instantly using up those 2 Stacks, you want to cast another missles. To get NP and the stackbuff on the barrage. This however shozuld only be done above 65% mana due to the damage buff, or if cooldowns are 15 sec within reach, else you skip what i just said, to conserve mana (You would also not instantly cast barrage, when you got no missles, you use arcane blast so long, till you get missles to double up the barrage, not just shooting em out) [Then, you obviously, like every caster, break your cast reguarly to position/go out of something, SV does not need the double blink. The other node choice grants full cast uptime on every CD and should be considered, but maybe thats a personal liking]

question in regards to arcane, do you just spam barrage whenever or do you have to have the 2x/1x nether buff, or tier proc before use? for the way it seems when watching the last cast ability bar you have, it seems like you throw barrage whenever, but i could be wrong.

Ideally you want to always have NP buffs consumed by Barrage in AOE. In your Surge Window if you don´t have a clearcasting proc but 4 Arcane Charges you do Barrage if you can get 4 stacks back. You also need to look at our Spellslinger Splinterstorm ability - where you want to consume as many NP as fast as possible to trigger Splinterstorm.
