I have the X0, X2, Double go.....you want to make a video no one has done? Show us how to change the battery. I'm sure it can be done....may have to super glue the case back together but.....The Double go has a slot for a Nic battery....that one's not a problem.

The Sound volume is like a Lowden project out of the sound hole but the ring tone is different. This is very interesting I got a O22 in the 90s. Lowden tone sounds like a bell very loud n clear to my listening. Workmen ship very stable. But this 38 ring tone sounds good. Very interesting to me.

Yesterday I ordered this guitar from you. (It's the travel size 38' Mahogany/Spruce right?) I live in the Netherlands. I never bought a guitar from that far away so I'm a bit nervous but.... we'll see. BTW It sounds magnificent!

Maybe its my bias because I bought a custom shop Hsienmo, but I think the Hsienmo sounds better and more full than the Kepma. Hsienmo is super legit wouldn't surprise me if their prices double in the next few years as people catch on.
@howabouthetruth215711 ай бұрын
I agree with ya 100%. I recently bought my first Custom Shop Hsienmo and loved it so much, I immediately bought a 2nd Custom Shop Hsienmo only 3 weeks later. ( one is a medium jumbo/single florentine cutaway, while the other is a Grand Auditorium/single cutaway ) Both are outstanding instruments in every way. I've owned quite a few top-shelf American and Japanese acoustics over the years, and both of my Hsienmo guitars take a back seat to NONE of the others. I intend to buy a 3rd Custom Shop Hsienmo very soon. You're not "biased"........the Hsienmo in this video clearly has a better tonal range, sounds warmer, and it also seems to be more touch responsive vs the Kepma. You also make a great point about what may happen to pricing as the world continues to catch on to Hsienmo. The word is definitely spreading. Which is why I want to but a 3rd Custom Shop Hsienmo as soon as possible. Because I like to perform many songs that are in various alternate open tunings, 3 different guitars will enable me to keep one in standard tuning, as the other 2 will be in different alternate open tunings. Sure makes life easier on stage.

1. Thanks for the review. It was excellent. 2. There is a definite similarity, but, as they say, if you want a J-45 (or rather, if you really need a J-45), get a J-45. (For EVERYONE ELSE who is NOT a professional musician, this Enya sounds better than a TON of guitars on the market.) 3. A similar guitar is the Eastman e1ss-sb. I think the quality control and support from Eastman surpasses Enya by a lot (I've heard a ton of complaints about Enya's "customer service" that is non-existent, and that's the reason I won't buy any of their guitars. This is particularly relevant when it comes to their CF guitars. Not all luthiers will work on a carbon fiber guitar.) But even with the Eastman, and with the exact same standards/specs as the J-45, it's NOT a J-45. What it IS...and similar with the Enya...is an amazing sounding guitar for the price, and for any price. It's the same with Eastman's E1D. It's NOT a Martin, but it IS an amazing sounding and well built instrument. But again...if you want a D-18, you have to buy a D-18.

ATTENTION ALL GUITARISTS: My name is Steve, from Melbourne Florida. I'm 62 yrs old and a lifelong accomplished guitarist/singer/blues harp/stage performer of many years. I've owned & performed with 3 different top-shelf Japanese Takamine's, and 1 top-shelf Taylor. As a proud and recent owner of 2 of Hsienmo's guitars bought directly from their Custom Shop, I am shocked that so many guitarists are ignoring this video, and this brand. Founder & Master Luthier: Li Chen, and his entire team of luthiers ( all have 15 to 20 yrs experience ) at Hsienmo Guitars are building some of the finest guitars in the world right now, especially for the price point. They are literally the very best value on the planet right now. Their builds/designs, impeccable attention to fine detail in every regard, and overall incredibly high quality takes a back seat to NO ONE. I will put both of my Hsienmo Custom Shop guitars: a medium jumbo w/florentine cutaway, with 5A German Spruce top and solid Indian Rosewood back & sides, and a Grand Auditorium single cutaway with 5A Adirondack Spruce top and solid Honduran Rosewood back & sides up against anything else costing 5 times more. THE WORLD NEEDS TO BE PUT ON NOTICE >>>>>>> HSIENMO GUITARS IS THE REAL DEAL.

Great head to head comparison!!! The Hsienmo sounds much more defined, with better note separation, and warmer vs the Kepmo, which sounds very 1-dimensional and "flat" across it's tonal range. The Hsienmo sounds like it is more touch-responsive as well. I just purchased 2 different Hsienmo guitars directly from their Custom Shop within this past month. I bought the first one and loved it SO much, I quickly bought the 2nd one. Hsienmo is the real deal.

I enjoy a Hsienmo Autumn guitar w/ German spruce & Indian rosewood. The model I bought from Leen had turquoise fret inlay. Comfortable to play and sounds very good. I alternate between the Autumn and a smaller Hsienmo Linglong w/ sinker redwood & Cocobolo. I don't plan to part with these, but if I ever get another, probably grand auditorium w/ sinker redwood & African blackwood.
@howabouthetruth215711 ай бұрын
Yes, their sinker redwood with African blackwood is absolutely stunning. The 2 guitars I bought just in the past month are both from their custom shop: a medium jumbo with single florentine cutaway ( "MJC" ) with a 5A German Spruce top and Indian rosewood back & sides, plus flamed maple binding & abalone purfling over the entire guitar, with a 1 pc mahogany neck. The other is a Grand Auditorium with single cutaway, 5A Adirondack Spruce top, Honduran rosewood back & sides with ebony armrest & ebony binding & abalone purfling over the entire guitar, plus the gorgeous abalone "vine" inlay over the entire fingerboard. It also has the 5 pc flamed maple/rosewood neck Both play and sound glorious. I've owned several extremely fine factory acoustic guitars over the years, and I can honestly say both of my Hsienmo's have them all beat for beauty, design, playability and tone. Both guitars floored me once I received them. I bought both within 3 weeks of each other. I intend to buy a 3rd Hsienmo sometime soon, ( like you, I will probably choose sinker redwood with African blackwood ) because I like to use alternate open tunings when performing, so it's nice to simply pick up another guitar that is ready to go vs tuning and re-tuning a single guitar during performances. I'm going to have the K&K Pure Mini pickup system installed in all of them. @@TallTreesClub
@TallTreesClub11 ай бұрын
I have a K&K pure mini in one guitar, but like the sound from a Journey of similar design slightly better. Neither is in the Hsienmo guitars yet. I'm debating whether to put pickups in those. I was going back and forth between an LR Baggs Lyric and the Passive K&K or Journey. Although the Lyrics are really good, I'm leaning toward simplicity and not putting a bunch of wires and clip into such nice guitars. I don't play professionally so it's a simple choice for me to make.@@howabouthetruth2157

Great efforts and thanks for sharing…the guitars is amazing …Kepma B1 is good but HsienMo autumn is amazing, it’s had more widen sound projection and more solid low end tone…
@howabouthetruth215711 ай бұрын
I agree 100%. The Hsienmo has noticeably more note for note, string for string and tone definition and sounds MUCH warmer vs the Kepmo, which to me, sounds far too "one-dimensional" and with a "flat response". The Hsienmo also seems to be more touch-sensitive, giving the player the ability to use dynamics & dramatics more effectively. Just within this past month of November 2023, I purchased 2 Hsienmo guitars from their Custom Shop. Both guitars are absolutely gorgeous, with impeccable crasftsmanship inside & out, and they play & sound every bit as good as they look. SO glad I bought them both!!! I will put them both up against the finer guitars being made today, regardless of price.

Gibson is a better guitar overall with more depth and better bass response. However, Enya is not bad as well. It has higher mids and somewhat more clarity in my opinion. I that's because of the difference in the back and sides with the J-45 using Mahogany vs T-05 using Sapele instead. Either way, I'm looking to get Enya in the near future.
