Everything is going up in price, not just lot rentals and real estate. I live in that park and am grateful that we got in about 8 months before the new company bought it. Our rent is on par with what Andy(?) said and has only increased about $50 in the last 2 years. Unfortunately, that's way more of an increase than people who have lived here much longer than me are used to. On the flip side, I would imagine that the company that owns it now has expenses that have been increasing as well because everything is going up. It would be great if there could be a happy medium somehow.

We're I live my little home for 2,100 2 bed rooms one bath but its going up and up some apartments for a studio is 2,400 just for rent not including utilities its a fuckin joke.. I am going to be living in a vehical soon happily!! were I own the dam thing and i can save money for my future .. fuck renting anyone elses home SCAMMM!!! Also most land lords are living off tennats the home is already payed off... there just greedy asf and wan't more money for there familys I see through the bs!! We live in a country that dishes out billions to other countries to fund wars, pays off student loans from students that never really used them for education but for rent, food and partying. Seniors are ignored, and this is deplorable. The greedy three piece suits of corporate companies are also to blame, they bitch about making 1/2 billion less than the year before, and raise grocery prices, fast food, prepackaged foods, prescriptions, on and on on and on. Surprised we haven't had a revolt by now.

Black mold caused my entire immune system to shut down. I had to have monthly, then bi-weekly and finally weekly IgG infusions. Unfortunately those infusions nearly killed me because they destroyed the veins in my arms. I was told a port for the infusions to continue had to be our next route and then the port occluded and I had to have emergency surgery to remove it.....and the story continues to this date and I am fully disabled and am plaqued by a dozen tested and proven conditions. It all started with a heavy exposure to mold. The first two days of the month is when Red Cross has money to help. The Lions Club and Salvation Army also give financial aid. Usually with the Lions, they help with glasses but they make acceptations for certain emergencies. Go to your doctor and have him/her write up what you are experiencing due to this. Have it sent to you via email and use that as a "calling card" for your discussions about this issue. Also, don't talk to anyone in person, only by email and text. This way they can't say, "I didn't know." or "I wasn't told." You have to act like a freakin politician to get things done, stand up like you are right no matter what is said. That will be easy for you as the one who is right here! Smile for the camera then nail them with a law suite. Everyone, please don't take mold lightly. This woman's belonging that have porous surfaces might not be cleanable. Heck, inside her TV can have mold, that stuff grows on everything. Lastly, that hole should have had TSP cleaning then Kilz spray painted on it, mold loves unpainted wood and its roots go down inside the wood and can lay domant until the temp and moisture count is right. Just cleaning doesn't take care of it, even the water in bleach feeds mold. You won't see it when it comes back right away either. The spores will even find their way into those totes in her bedroom, nothing is safe. Get a settlement, that is what insurance is there for. Write your things off (except for the stuff you can have professionally clean by a mitigation specialist). And use the money for new stuff and a new place. If you don't get the action you want now, contact the mayors office and get on a list for financial assistance and tell them you want a letter back from their office. Your last ditch effort, or when this is solved, you an contact the news. People doing bad don't want attention. LOL... Take care, Signed Nana

It’s because the Government puts a lot of requirements on the landlords so landlords they say it’s not worth it. So they don’t get involved. My family had some houses we could have went that way but my dad said he wasn’t letting anyone dictating all those rules on him while he was doing fine the way he was. When my dad passed away all of us siblings didn’t have the time to keep up on the rental properties so we sold all the properties. This lady seems to be happy here. The apartments look nice with the pool. I pray she enjoys this new journey in her life.

I feel so sad for her, and for the homeless people God help us all our country should take care of the homeless before taking care of immigrants . It can’t be easy living on such a small amount of money no matter where you live.

Corporations bought every low income apartment in Las Vegas and doubled our rent in 3 years. Now we have a ridiculous amount of vacant rooms that are all being broken into and they need to board up the windows and doors. This is what you call extreme greed.
