Your paper instructions talk about the corner brackets as A & B. Unfortunately the rod that is obviously made in China, has R&L stamped on the bottom of the brackets. No where is there any instructions that refer to R&L which I would assume alludes to RIGHT & LEFT. Your instructions are terrible! If your staff in China, cannot differentiate between A&B and R&L, you should contact the patent office and tell them you have a mistake on your product. Not impressed at all.

Hello @danarenix1688 We are sorry to hear that. May we know where did you purchase the product from and how long ago? We checked our stock and the corner brackets have no markings on them. Thanks.

@@commonwealthhomefashions The curtains, and rod were purchased at Costco, and were stored until required. If I remember correctly, it was last Summer. I recently installed them in order to facilitate a dark room for my daughter who is a Nurse and works nights. Your paper instructions refer to the mounting brackets as A & B. A is referred to being Left (L) and B Is referred to being Right (R) Obviously there was a mis-stamping during the manufacturing process. Additionally, you mentioned that your inventory brackets don’t have any markings on them. How, then, do people correlate left and right when installing? Some people require definitive instructions in order to instal the brackets? Your paper instructions are poorly presented, and need to be more explanatory, so these things don’t cause discourse with the purchaser.

So, what do you intend to do regarding? Must I remove the brackets, take a picture of the stupidity, and send it to Facebook? It’s principal! I have someone saying that they checked the stock on hand, and none of the brackets were stamped. Well, if they weren’t stamped, what were they not stamped with?? A&B? That is what your paper instructions dictate. No wonder your design, and product are struggling. Get someone that can correlate how to put instructions in SIMPLE mode. And dot hide behind “I don’t know” pretty sad excuse!

Your instructions don’t mention whether to mount the brackets center/inside/outside of the mark.

Our appologies for the oversight. The brackets should be set outside the 2" mark (if possible). However, you can also set the brackets further out if you want to give the illusion that your windows are even bigger.

I have two sliding patio doors right next to each other, configured similarly to an XOOX double door setup, although they do not actually close onto each other, and they are both surrounded by 2 1/4 inch trim, with a gap of 3 1/2 inches between them. Each set of doors is 64 inches across. Since a single rod, even fully extended, cannot be used across the both sets of doors, I purchased two rods. I’m not sure how to place the INSIDE brackets, since it seems they would need to occupy the same space (2 inches out from the trip, as the instructions recommend). How can I make this work? Can I use the support bracket in that place, somehow - or perhaps use the support brackets from both sets, spaced out - and purchase a longer rod? Even better, could the two rods be combined, somehow? I’m stumped.
