how to you have the page x of Y restart in new section but with the actual number of pages in that section.

It is actually doable in a simillar fashion that was demonstared in the video. You just need to select SectionPages instead of NumPages from the Field dialog box. Hope this answers your question.

I had text already in my footer. Currently using Mac. I’m on the second step to add “of pages” I followed all steps he gave except after hitting field, mine looked different. I selected “numbering” in the fields categories and then selected “selectionPages” and it worked. Thank you for your content.

This is not what I would call a "step by step" because you didn't start from the beginning in creating the shapes. And you basically just list the things you did as if everyone is already familiar with Storyline. It's confusing as heck.

hi. i have been trying to do this but it isn't working. i tried doing it again and again but its not working. it goes like page 1, page 2, page 3, page 2, page 3, page 2, page 3, page 2,.... so on for the rest of the document. i don't know what to do I need to submit my document asap
