This one is in Japanese, so this must be a performance in Japan. For some reason, Japanese versions of their Korean original music doesn’t quite hit for me. The words just sound more light/delicate, where in Korean it feels more emotional and deeper (guttural?) cuz they wrote it, expressing it in their own language. But their Japanese original songs (mostly ballads/slower) are great on their own.

My absolute favourite BTS song for being pretty is Crystal Snow, live performance always preferred.

They weren’t lying-I’ve been following BTS since 2016, and it’s pretty easy to tell how genuine they are. You should watch the whole video to really see their reactions. They are incredibly kind and genuine people. Of course, they wouldn’t say they hate something, especially if people or fans put effort into it. Even if it’s not their favorite, they would still appreciate the hard work behind it. Honestly, I think the fact that people took their songs, changed them up, and made them their own is fascinating enough that it’s hard to hate. It’s more about appreciating the creativity and being happy that their music inspired something new. For example, J-Hope’s face looking a bit “disgusted” is actually just how he looks when he’s fascinated and thinking “woah.” It’s similar to how Jungkook looks angry while eating when he really likes the food-it’s just his natural reaction. Also, during the interview, they were pretty calm, and we didn’t see their full reactions to every song since a lot of it was cut. As an example, Jungkook reacted to Seven covers in one of his Lives. He simply laughed a bit and said it was cute how someone tried to rap Latto’s part. He genuinely appreciated the effort, which shows how open they are. They’re all fans of all kinds of music. BTS themselves do such a variety of genres, and they’ve mentioned enjoying rock too, so I really believe they liked it. Their reactions seemed genuine to me.

Ohh actually this song on the album (Love Yourself: Answer, 2018) is called: Fake love (Rocking vibe mix). I think it is acurate name and I think you will agree 😉 bc it has rock vibe but isn't really rock song.... (Original song Fake love is from the album Love Yourself: Tear, 2017). So yeah BTS never told anyone this is rock song/version people call it rock ver. as short name, but for people that are into metal yeah it has vibe but isn't really it, I think they called it in good way but nobody uses the name 🫠 heh I like both versions of tye song and when you listen to tge audio of both it is different vibe. From what I remember Taylor’s songs were already impacting pop music at the time of the MTV awards, so she was famous but not like big pop star famous. I remember thinking the Kanye thing was kind of funny but that he was a douche. When I watch it now, the mom in me goes feral thinking I would tear him up. This was one of the early awards of the night (best female video maybe?) and Beyonce went on to win the biggest award, Video of the year. Before she made her speech she invited Taylor back onstage to finish her speech. Taylor said something about how she just felt like a little country artist who was invited to hang with the cool kids that night. It’s so much sadder in retrospect Yes to your reaction to Lover being too long! All her albums are too long (even Folklore, but it’s a beautiful cohesive project so it’s perfect). ME is such a bad song it makes me feel angry. In fact, every song she did in the studio there with that producer (aka, NOT Jack or Aaron) is just not good. His beats are boring and he somehow didn’t elevate her cheesiest instincts. Yes she has them, just like Sir Paul M. This is why Lover is such a miss of an album for me, other than a handful of brilliant songs. Like maybe 8-10 at most.

You should check out a live version of Glenn Campbell MacArther Park. William Tell Overture is where his guitar skills really shine. There are live performance of Galvestion where his guitar work is much better because he is using an electric guitar.
