I've done Mam Tor but was looking for a more circular route. This has given me the answer. I was wondering if you can go down the end of lose hill and bring it back in a full circle to the old Buxton Road? Just started my Ethel Challenge and looking for ideas rather than out and backs. Really enjoyed the vlog, thanks for sharing.

My best advice if youre not wanting to go the long way we did in the video is to park on Snake Road. There youll see a pathway which leads up to the crash site. 🙂 if you go on a weekend there should be a few cars parked on the side of the road and hopefully someone will be kind enough to direct you safely.

Nice area and nice to see such a famous place. I guess it would have looked very different there when the old hunter-gatherers were around...it's the northernmost site ever discovered with human occupation. So more of a tundra probably at the time the herds of animals were being hunted?
@ExpeditionDean3 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't you just love to step back in time and see what it was like. I wondered if they had a close community there or whether there wasn't much communication at that time.
@forestdwellerresearch65933 жыл бұрын
@@ExpeditionDean I would give my left nut to step back in time yes....and the right one too haha :) Breathing clean air...no industry....what could be better?
