Very similar to a build I used to use. I had the songbird rather than earshot, but otherwise near identical build. I know it won you the fight in the end, but I think your making the same mistake I used to make with the moonlight and only going for the charge attack. Or at least overly relying on it. Mixing it up a bit and only going for the charge when you've just dodged a big attack (so they are on cooldowns) made a huge difference for me. Also use the standard attack when the opponent is staggered as the charge gives them enough time to recover and you usually miss.

please delay your second pulse blade swings! you keep whiffing because the first swing knocks the opponent back too far for the second to hit. by delaying the second swing it gives time for you to reset positions and the lunge brings you back into range

@@neco_arc_gaming I know about how to confirm the second Pulse Blade swing, I just have clumsy fingers and even when I try to delay my swings I still end up pressing L2 too fast and mess up

Sick fights. If I can make one minor comment though. When using the charged shot of the harris, you might as well also reload. The timing is almost exactly the same and you never know when those extra shots might matter. In these games I doubt it, but into heavier and longer matches. it might.

What an interesting build. I might steal it and see if I can't make it work for me too. I love the Harris and the trueno, but I could never figure out what I wanted on the other parts... Can I ask what your internals were?

@@SeraphBlademaster Gen- Hokushi Boosters- Alula FCS- Ocellus Harris and Trueno are a favorite combination of mine too, they compliment each other just right either setting up a stagger for other or can capitalize off the stagger afterwards for a long range punish outside the Slicer range

The number of different builds that people think are "meta" makes me think it's actually quite balanced.

It's less about the quantity and more so the quality of the meta builds Getting stun juggled by dual zims isn't fun and can almost feel impossible to fight back against if you don't build your AC right. Lamms that want to do nothing but kiss the skybox are also incredibly unfun to fight against if you don't have an AC built for chasing, the problem isn't that how many builds are meta viable it's that certain builds are unquestionably a coin flip that's decided in the garage screen, sure that's part of the game's identity but that doesn't make it feel any less awful when you see your opponent with a loadout you have no answers to

@theramenking7237 That's true. I've been mostly playing BVO builds or variations on them, as I find that style the most fun to play. Big damage tanktreds are my cryptonite. I think we all forget the matches where the other player has no chance against us and remember the ones where we are the one with no chance.

I don't know how to say it without sounded demeaning, but your opponent's set up in this match is very basic, but in a good way. Biped, a rifle, a bazooka, missile launcher, and a shield too Very well balanced, and beginner friendly.

There's nothing wrong with calling a build basic or honest, it tells me the pilot is confident in his skills to win on fundamentals alone, he took the 2nd round from me by playing tothe strengths of his AC and kept his distance like any good kite should, he might have even won the 3rd round if my Assault Armor gamble didn't work
