The investigator jumps to certain conclusions, stating them as facts. I knew Keith Annandale personally, as he was my uncle. I was a pallbearer at his funeral. Keith was a Homoeopathic Medicine practitioner, and told us he was a doctor, but we knew he wasn't. He loved diving, I think that is where or how he met his second wife, Dianne. He even gave me a diving lesson in his swimming pool! Keith did talk about SAIMR, in fact he tried to recruit me into the organization, as I was interested in diving and wrecks at the time, however I was too young then, still attending high school. Before I joined the South African Defence Force for my National Service, he hinted that I could help him gather intelligence on SADF activities. I was not interested at all, but that is when I realized there was more to SAIMR than just sunken treasure hunting. My uncle told us stories of his time with Mike Hoare as a mercenary in the Congo, and even wore his old khaki merc uniform to play paintball with my brother and I. There are 3 stories: 1- They were patrolling the bush for ages, and came across a village where the unshaved and dirty commando members were welcomed by the village elder as 'the return of the bearded Jews.' 2- His unit were to occupy or search an isolated farmhouse surrounded by jungle, but the building was occupied by the enemy, who opened fire on the patrol after they emerged from the jungle. Keith tried to reenter the jungle crawling backwards, but got tangled up, so he turned around, and came face to face with a giant spider. He panicked! He got up and ran through the enemy gunfire, until he reached the farmhouse. When he recovered from his fright, he dispatched the occupants with a hand grenade through a window. Supposedly there is a gold medal given to him by Mike Hoare for bravery out there in the world which Keith gave away because he said he didn't deserve it. 3- When his contract was up, Keith travelled by military boat down the Zaire, or Congo River with all his kit, including his guitar. Yes, Keith played guitar. He fell asleep on some sacking, dropped a lit cigarette, and woke up with the cabin or hold alight. He tried to put out the fire, but couldn't, so he gathered his kit, and walked out onto the jetty. The boat was destroyed in the fire, and they knew he was the culprit as only he had ALL his kit with him. Apparently he was fined all or most of his backpay in US$ for this, and gained a nickname: The Mad Bomber. How true are these stories? I don't know, I wasn't in the Congo with him, so can only pass on his stories. He did tell me that Mike Hoare approached him regarding the Seychelles Coup, to smuggle weapons onto the island. Keith wanted to fit a false bottom to a yacht, but Mike thought it too expensive or would take too long to do, so his men carried the weapons in on themselves, which led to their early discovery. Keith HATED Communism wirh a passion. He talked of neighborhood watches in white, unmarked vans picking up blacks walking in white areas and dropping them off elsewhere... very sinister. He spoke of infecting SABAX saline solution with the common cold or flu virus which would kill anyone with AIDS. Keith reckoned that AIDS would devastate Africa so much, that one day a South African soldier would march North to the Congo river, reach across, and shake hands with an Israeli soldier... Keith did not always wear white as this video claims. Often, yes, but not always. So was he the evil monster this video claims? I do not recall Keith EVER talking about Dags death, and he loved telling stories, so I'm sure that one would have come out at a braai with us.

If the wreckage is still there, how come Sweden has not asked Zambia for permission to, and performed, a dug-out and re-analysis of the wreckage with the latest technology? It would most certainly conclude as to whether it was shot down or crashed. Zambia has always been positive towards further investigations, so it shouldn't be difficult.

Io non sono una che seguivo i papi più che altro curiosità e storia per me sono uomini come altri con qualcosa di più però questo Papa cambio mio modo di pensare su di loro in modo speciale su Benedetto XVI un grande Papa , da quando lo vide ho visto un vescovo da Dio umile e dolce.
