I've done this hike. Pushed my bike to the top. Looked around. Rode it back down. Very fun and scenic! Good job!

Amazing trail and running conditions! I would love to have a local running club like that. Great shot of the happiest dog on earth! 19mi.... outstanding!! No wonder you've turned running in the Grand Canyon into "just a nice trail run." Great job!

Great job awesome video. I’m just curious as to what ointment are you using on your feet when you change your socks.?
@Flagstaff_Liu
@Flagstaff_Liu Ай бұрын
I applied a small amount of Squirrel Nut Butter to the hot spots, and after switching to a new pair of socks, the situation improved significantly.

Loved this Liu, and your outfit is excellent!! You were flying down the South Kaibab to the Black Bridge, and your climb up from the Manzanita (Man-Zan-EEtah) Rest Stop was on fire. Great job on this, and it was so fun to hear you talking along the way. Have you tried the smart wool Injinji Toe Socks yet? I'm wondering if they'd help with the hot spots/blisters, and maybe a shoe like a VivoBareFoot Primus Trail FG? Also, those athletes packing their bikes and the rest of their gear R2R......that is absolute insanity!! EDIT: Subbed!

I met Jason last year while we were doing r2r2r on the same day. I was hiking it and he was running it. I decided that day to try ultrarunning because some of my hikes were just taking too long! It is great to see him finish Moab! Very inspirational.

Hey I remember you from last year! We were chatting at Manzanita, right? Thanks for following along, and for the kind words about Moab!

I parked at a small dirt parking lot near Humane Association. Fox Glenn park is another popular option.

Sub 24 finish is just mind blowing. Took me just over 36 hours. It’s such a tough course, and that 22 miles back from Washington Park in the heat on Sunday was pretty rough. Congrats to everyone that was out there!!!! Thanks for the footage, it’s always fun to relive those good times!!!

Boss level doing the route the most difficult way. May I suggest not using music in your videos, and turning up the volume of your voice so we can enjoy your commentary, or just the sound of you running and power hiking?

Cool video! Congratulations on your successful hike. Was the water off at Phantom Ranch?
@Flagstaff_Liu
@Flagstaff_Liu 8 ай бұрын
The water at Phantom is on. I carried 2.5 liter water with me, enough to make all the way up, so no need to stop by there. The "intersection" to the Phantom Ranch was blocked(under construction), but you can detour from the campground as the sign indicate.

@@Flagstaff_Liu Ah, that makes sense. I will be hiking through there in about a week and I am hoping the water will be on and there will be no detours or delays!
