I usually just zig zag the edges of my fabric before washing. The thread encases the edges and it doesnt fray at all

How is this different when you are using a pattern w/o any darts? I have a VERY simple jacket pattern that I need to upsize thru the bust & tummy for a dear friend. It doesn’t have any darts, I did a mock up in the largest size of the pattern, the sleeves fit fine, so I don’t want to mess with them. Also don’t need to add any length, she’s’ “vertically challenged.”😉 Also wondering about adding a bit of fullness into the back piece?

I tried absolutely everything and I can't agree with you that this tool is great and/or that you don't need to adjust the fabric while cutting ... it's a waste of money, don't buy it, circles cut by hand are by far better

Thank you for saving me from searching through "pages" of straight pin types! Worked with some multi-use pins today. Was not happy when several of the ball heads started falling off. Will look for glass and flower headed pins.
