Wow, Gavin is completely right during the 'landing on the x' debate. It initially starts off a little more difficult to hit your target, so you need to be precise and get yourself in an approximate area of the target. But as you get closer, your decisions will affect the outcome less. So as long as you think of it in chunks such that at the end of each distance marker there's a range of areas you can be in, you should be able to hit the target.

Falling from a plane is definitely a better way to die. Yes you'll be terrified the entire way, but you'll either die from a heart attack on the way down or from the impact. And honestly if you survive from that, you'll have severe life-altering injuries so it's just better to find a hard object to smack into. Being stuck in the middle of the ocean, the longer you survived the more the pain increases as you get hungry or and thirstier and are continuously exposed to the sun and salt. Plus, if you fall out of a plane they'll probably make a memorial to you or something.

Here's another funny thing about this debate. Gavin says if he saw a mountain while falling out of a plane, he'd "aim for that," as if Gavin is a professional skydancer, or as if "aiming for something" is like falling in the movies, where a character lunges their head in a direction and then their whole body just starts floating that way mid-fall.
