Hey nice video! I don't know if your rules for challenges allow this but you could try taunting enemies by spamming the flashlight. That way they'll take 50% more damage but you'll have to be careful to not get hit since they also deal 50% more damage (But since Adam oneshot you anyway, I don't think that would change much). Also you could use buffs to increase your defense and maybe even offense (I know the laser damage is not increased from Ranged Attack Up but I dont about the other pod programs). I can't think of a better spot for it in the game, but it always struck me how early DKC2 includes its Lava Level.

I remember this game I used to play this game all the time and there's a few things I didn't know I could do in it like putting attachments on and leaving them there I thought I had to level up the weapon and then put the attachments on and then build up I love this game but I love the sequel more they got rid of the dueling segments and the hydration bar and if you break your weapon you still get to keep it it just won't do as much damage!

Thanks for this video! My copy of DKC2 must have been broken back in the day, because even when I paid coins to save I could never resume if I shutoff the SNES. So I mostly just replayed Worlds 1 and 2 and loved them the most. But yeah DKC trilogy is awesome!

I think what made a lot of the original creepypastas scary to me as a kid was that they felt grounded. Despite many of them featuring supernatural elements, they weren't outlandishly gorey nor did they take place in surreal and clearly imaginary places. They sometimes even featured things like phone call reenactments, excerpts from newspapers or TV reports. Hell, some of them weren't even real stories, just unsettling videos or pictures which freak me out even today. There was a lot that was left to interpreatation and, to a kid as obssesed with mythology, folklore and mysteries as I was, my imagination could run really wild and, even in my adulthood, I'm unashamed to admit that I do see why they distubed me as much. Overall, great analysis, would love to see more.

OMG. When I was 13 I had such a crush on Jane.😅

The only creepypasta that ever freaked me out was sonic.exe, and only because of the way my friend presented it to me. He found some sort of creepypasta database and claimed that it was a weird website that suddenly appeared on his phone. He claimed that there was no url and he had no idea how it got there and while I was skeptical I was curious enough to go along with it. He read sonic.exe to me and some other friends on the bus. I wasn't scared of it at the time and certainly didn't believe it, but I remember showering that night and constantly looking over my shoulder. Despite being 99% sure it was made up, the thought of that 1% chance still clung to me that night. Then the next day he read us a story about Meta Knight cutting Kirby to bloody pieces and I realized just how silly creepypastas were. Still, I definitely don't regret indulging in some absurd internet nonsense. Thanks for the video, it was fun to reminisce.
