I needed to say a few weeks ago about your thinking behind changing the tags of those trashy, disgusting levels. It’s not art a good choice imo. What I do is first competitive with single player.. it’s very funny to me

20:13 A lot of times, usually in speedrun levels, I see ON/OFF switch blocks that you are supposed to not hit. I'm sure you've seen this many times yourself, given how many levels you've played in SMM2. Why they are there, you ask... simple, it's the creator trying to sucker you into wasting time (or a life), because you are used to having to hit every ON/OFF switch in a speedrun level. An attentive player may be able to see when the ON/OFF is already in the correct state and know not to hit a certain block. It's basically a case of Simon Says, the creator is testing you to see if you're paying attention.

Fun Fact: The no leaving the ground level you skipped in 2:57 is still uncleared to this day and is a level team 0% still has to beat since it's a 2020 level.

Levels with clear conditions like this have no business being this long. I'm convinced that creators only make levels like this to show off how much patience they have. I don't think they take the player's level of patience into consideration, only a masochist would be expected to try and beat such a level. That said, if you're playing Super Expert into the tens of thousands of clears, I think it's safe to say that you're a bit of a masochist.

For anyone else wondering, there was no dev route on the last level. There was, however, a softlock trap in the 1-up mushroom pipe.

40 minutes of skipping and playing levels out of endless, so I just cut everything to the next cleared level.

more than likely I will start doing half SMM2 and SMM3 content on here. The run will just sit and go limbo but the content from the run (it's like almost 3 years behind) will be catching up until the end where it'll stop. I'll probably stop on a 1,000 clears so it's nice and neat. Like if it came out now, I'd get to 25k clears and stop.

I didnt realize how long ago this was. Do you upload every single level you complete, and thats why its so far behind? Or do you only upload the levels based on fun to watch/ interesting levels. also have been watching for yrs rly cool that you've stuck to this after all this time :)

I took many breaks from editing but I have recently gained some ambition to edit and earn money off of it. Streaming is more fun for sure, editing can be draining. Anyways I tend to skip levels that I either deem boring or very hard to edit in, when I'm trying to get it done everyday. Most of the time it's just boring levels I skip. It's very far behind because I used to clear 50 a day, and can only edit between 3-7 clears per video. You can see why it's so behind now. I clear maybe 25 clears every few days now.

You said you recorded this in 720p but the highest option to choose now is 1080p60, is this some kinda youtube ai upscaler?

honestly I don't even know if it even scaled, but people wanted 1080p option even if it does nothing, so it's there. what it does do: take twice as long to export from editing program (it's 2x size) take twice as long to upload seriously, it's just a waste of time but all the 1080p people who cried about it, are no longer doing so lol

Wow dude. It’s crazy that you used to edit your voiceover to be normal time over the sped up parts. That’s a lot of attention to detail that I bet most people don’t observe.

I actually just cut the voice out of the spots, save it for later, and then speed up the parts and attach the voice to the sped up parts. It's a bit more work but it gets the job done
