How long should I steam my baits some say 20 min some say 7 min
@NutrabaitsTV22 күн бұрын
All on the steamer you are using. We use commercial, pressurised steamers that are temperature controlled. So we are able to maintain 80 degrees throughout the steaming process. Our steam times are 2 minutes for 12mm and 3 minutes for 18mm baits. With domestic style steamers each will be different. Remember to start your timer when the temperature has reached 80 degrees. Below this they’re not cooking, depending on the temperature drop on how long you have the steamer open between loading. I would suggest trial and error unfortunately but patience will pay off once you perfect.

@NutrabaitsTV Thanks another great answer I can trust I have a pressure steamer I have built my self last batch I did was for 10 to 13 min and they were like boilied sweets after steaming but Thanks for be truthful in your reply I have had so many people tell me different things and times glad I asked you guys asked other companies and bait makers and get ether no reply or I get false information

How long to steam 15mm please I have been told so many different times and non seem to work ether to much or to short they ether to soft or to hard
@NutrabaitsTV22 күн бұрын
Our steamers are commercial, pressurised steamers with our steamer time only slightly higher than boiling times. 2 minutes 30 seconds in our steamer at 80 degrees but domestic steamers take longer to get up to temperature. Lose heat etc.

@@NutrabaitsTV I blanked lol . 2 nd time. It’s a new syndicate lake near me with 75 gardners carp that got added during Covid and the original carp no one has caught for years . I found it was heavily silted and wasn’t sure how to attack it ? I opted for the Hele rig with a size 18 frozen cell . Not sure what to try next time . The lake is about 3 acres big .

Obviously your Sunflower/Blue Oyster is a tried & tested combination after years of diligent observation, were there any other oil/label combinations that were even close to being as effective? Did you have any success with Essential Oils as the label by any chance?

Hi, not being disrespectful but have you ever thought of putting a hookbait out that is exactly the same as what you are feeding. It can and does work.
@mikepaynecarpangler5714Ай бұрын
Absolutely, however in the spring I have had great success on bright pop ups either on their own or over small amounts of crumb 👍🏻 in the summer months I tend to switch to match the hatch 👍🏻

Im not sponsored and i use those liquids, the way i do it is i use less in winter and spring bait wise but i spend the same each month regardless, so in winter/spring im buying stuff that i know i will use in summer/autumn so when it does warm up iv got a pantry full lol
@andrewtate8303Ай бұрын
Cost a fortune to add all them liquids unless your sponserd
@stephenholland132Ай бұрын
Not really. I'm not sponsored by Nutrabaits, but what I do is pre plan, save up until I have enough to get what I need. I always try and get £60+ for the free p&p. I like the way the packing is actually PVA nuggets 😉 4:35

The type of angling Mike does is overnight sessions between work or short evening sessions after work so maximum attraction is the key. Mike will make the bucket up which will last several sessions so when pro-rata is not expensive. The intention of this type of mix isn’t intended for an heavy baiting approach but more for bite at a time.
