It only rained on one of the days, that too for an hour. We did not have any problem with the weather and yes, you can go with family. Just keep a relaxed schedule.

It was amazing for us. It did rain but not for the whole day. Plan your activities early in the day to enjoy the most out of Bali.

The crowd in early December is no so much. There were tourists from all over the world.

We visted Bali for 9 days between 3rd December and 11th December 2012. The weather was pleasant and rain was not a problem. Go for it. Cheers!

It depends on your type of bookings and your food preferences. We spent around 1. 2L per person including flights and everything.

@riderabhishek8492 There are 2 things to consider here. 1. Since you have less time to plan your trip by yourself, you can thoroughly check their itinerary and opt for it. Having said that, these packages might not be flexible as per your needs and preferences. So I suggest you read and confirm each and every aspect of your trip. Make sure you dont opt for different airlines if you have a layover (like in Malaysia) as collecting the luggage and checking in again is truly a hassle. 2. Bali is very well connected and you will get almost all the facilities at hands reach. So if you can spend 2-3 days planning all aspects of the trip mentioned in the video, I am sure you will enjoy your trip. You can book flights, decide on stays now, and plan everything else accordingly a little later. The only drawback I see now is that the flight rates might not be at their cheapest. You might end up spending a few thousand rupees more, but everything will be at your disposal to choose from, and we prefer this way, especially in places like Bali. Have a great trip. 🙂

Absolutely. If you are shopping in local markets in Ubud and around, try to keep in mind that the maximum, the article might be worth is it's probable equivalent price in India. You need to bargain accordingly. It worked for us. It is not like you are ripping the local sellers of their earnings but rather an accepted practice and they bloat the prices upto 5x-6x sometimes. Be sure to bargain hard to get your article at a fair price for both.

For example, we purchased a printed T shirt in Ubud old market. The seller asked for 200k IDR(1100 INR). But the shirt would be worth around 300 INR in India and after bargaining we eventually bought it for 50k IDR.
