Taylor Leonhardt

Tennessee based and Texas-bred singer-songwriter Taylor Leonhardt expertly weaves classic Americana with a fresh lyrical prowess that’s both striking and deeply comforting. Her voice hearkens to the titans of great folk music, with lyrics so honest it feels like hearing from a friend. Leonhardt's pending second full-length album (now on Kickstarter) is a clear step into the alt-country sound that is so obviously part of her DNA as a songwriter. Not shying away from the gritty parts of life, the upcoming project delicately unravels the process of growing up and bravely choosing hope and confidence in a time of navigating personal failures and limitations. Each song was tracked live with a full in-studio band, capturing the warm, vintage sound of real-time music making. She currently resides in Nashville, TN where you can usually find her sitting with her dog June on a friend's front porch with a coffee (or a whiskey) in her hand.
