The tabs are hard to push in on some boxes or the box is so poorly made that the box falls apart when trying to push tabs in.

I agree! I try to stick with quality name brands but those tabs are not always easy to push!

Those tabs are hard to push in, and it still does not work. Inside of my box are two folds over the hole tab that is pushed in. What gives? I have known about this for a while, and it is still not working

I feel your pain - not always easy. Sometimes I take a small knife and cut the perferated tab edges first and then push in. Hope that helps!
