Everything I've looked at turo, it wasnt the right option. I do want to give it a try though.

@@anythingcoes Turo is cheaper, but could be gamble. ( I am also Turo all star host) So my advice: If you need short rides around city - get Turo 100%. If you plan to have 1 week trip - go Hertz. Host responsible for maintaining his own car on Turo, and it could be a disaster. But in terms of reliability - Hertz is the way to go.

Be sure to keep all your profile infomation up to date in your gold profile.Otherwise you'll end up in line somewhere. As for gold members at none airport locations the agent will preprint your contract.

I think getting whatever car you want is the difference.

If the reservation is linked to your account with status, they just let you pick whatever car you want. Phoenix has been the most successful for upgrades for me so far. But several cards give presidents circle now, so it's becoming watered down

@@andydo276 anything midsize or above. On their website they will show the rates that are not eligible for PC upgrade. Sometimes the SUVs or electric cars are cheaper than their midsize, so just pick the cheapest one.

Not when I was there, it was a while ago, but I think they maybe had some Mercedes and maybe a jaguar. Can't remember

I believe I booked a standard on that one, but yes, I was able to take whichever vehicle I wanted at this location.

Why book a higher class for more money when you could pick a lower class and still pick any car you want? Just making sure I didn’t miss something. @@tylerslilt83, from what i've read, a one-class upgrade is guarenteed. I don't think the managers specials are included. But in my experience, it is very location and availability dependant. On this particular trip, I was in Phoenix during the summer in the middle of the week. But I would absolutly book a lower class than what i wanted unless I needed something specific like a minivan or truck

@@Mickieshelton If you have a status with another rental car company, like National Executive elite, you can status match that to Hertz president’s circle.

I've always had trouble with pet friendly. We just recently spent a month in an Airbnb, and the options were very limited.

Very good benefits, the card easily pays for itself IF you're able yo use them. Good luck, hope you get some good trips out of it

This was my first time visiting the island, I thought it was a great product. I used my Sapphire Reserve travel credit so it ended up costing me $13 to upgrade
