When it comes to animation like this the things that move alot more are drawn with less detail but with the machine it doesn’t move as much as John but John moves more witch this could be for making animating him easier as they don’t have to worry about minor details but when they make him in the mountain whenever they want him to hit the rock he doesn’t move as much as much as he normally would so yeah

AI art isn't even legally art, it's imagery. Real art has to be hand drawn because it must be made to express one's emotion personally

As a resident of the post-Soviet space, I can't help but note that John Henry is the poster archetype of the proletarian. If you don't believe me, then look at Soviet agitprop. "Every hammer blow is a blow to the enemy", "Let's change the weapon of war into a tool of labor" ("Каждый удар молота - удар по врагу", "Перекуём оружие войны на орудие труда").

Legit when i was 4 i didn't see him as a black man, i saw him as an American hero. Not saying that in a way to take away his importance to black people for his tale is a great message to everyone

If it was any normal human, they would’ve gave up when they realized there was a mountain But this man, he is a steel machine fueled by nothing but pure determination, he swore to protect the job of everyone around him from the cold, dark machine He shall known as the steel hand who beat machinery itself

@@dontkickmychick6076the crazy part is, this shouldn’t be that expensive to do nowadays because it’s hard to see, but instead of crisp, straight pen lines they’re using pencil and roughing the lines

Why the hell would they need to blackwash white characters in old movies when they have this absolute gem that 100% deserves a live action revival? He's a black hero and this story is insanely gripping. The first time I watched this short snippet of the movie I cried. That should tell you something...
