Brilliant. I've been watching these Classic Emmerdale's for the past few months, they're excellent. This had got to be one of the funniest and most entertaining episode of Emmerdale ever. Alan and Seth are superb, never thought there could be so much comedy in Emmerdale! I just wish these episodes had gone back a few further years into the 1980s, but it's great to have these.

Between 13:34 and 13:57 Amos is being very narrow minded and 75 years out of date. What the hell is wrong with wanting peace rather than war. There is nothing at all wrong with expecting people to live in a civilised manner instead of fighting among themselves. Amos had no right to to talk to Archie as though he had two heads the old coot. I find Amos boring. I'll bet if he was still in the T.V. show when the Dingles arrived he would not have like any of them.

36 minute mark - I wish they kept this side to Shadrach, rather than making him the lazy soft drunk that his character turned into. He kept Cain in line here.

Btw, Shadrach's spanish was either fantastic or straight up ridiculous 🤣🤣 Huge shame about Sam though, though I don't really blame him for how he acted, he clearly needed his family around him in that moment and he had no idea what to do or how to think.
