I remember taking some of my friends to an abandoned school way way WAY out in the middle of nowhere in South Miss'sippi one Halloween night because we were scare seekers and we thought abandoned schools and hospitals were the scariest. We finally pull up to this place expecting it to be dark and vacant but there was this holiness revival going on! They were playing the music that churches that handle snakes and drink stryctnine do! It was jumping. I just knew they were about to sacrifice somebody. They saw us pull up and as I was turning the car around, several of the menfolk were coming to my car. Probably to tell me about Jesus but in my head they were gonna sacrifice me to yield good crops the coming harvest.
