@@M7266F Yes and no. A few weeks ago he had a date and said if it's not on this date then it's next year at the same time. So sometime mid-july 2025 is the current projection, although he just switched from saying that he never said that he said he was a prophet (even though he did) and is now saying today that he is a prophet and that everybody in the room is a prophet... So yeah, we are in August...

I do comments with questions and stuff like you, but I never criticize people with how they actually format the video. Regarding the laws, I know we DID believe that the 613 still applied except for the sacrifices. So it doesn't really matter, ten commandments or the 613 both work. It's the same idea in this case.

Yeah apparently this is very common among COG people. I've talked to several and even things that really aren't anything are a lot of something to our heads... Don't know if u have any knowledge of that. Another thing is how I noticed that old WCG recordings show people with the same body movements and gestures. It's kind of a nameless effect on people who were born into it, with less so of those who joined. Anyway. By the way, I hope you understand I have no sense of animosity against COG peeps. Definitely against upper echelon head honchos like David Pack who just recently told everyone to sell all and give it to him. I've come across UCG peeps recently and had a great convo.

I am so sorry that I just only now saw this comment. I am brand new to KZbin so I didn't know that if you replied to a reply that it kind of hides it from you. My apologies for taking so long to get back. No I absolutely love it. You and a couple of other people have actually just come out of the woodwork. I am totally not used to members seeing my stuff. I completely 100% agree with you on the whole grounded in the faith concept. In fact, if you continue to like my content, perhaps in the future we can actually do some sort of exchange. When my tiktok content gets caught up. I'm thinking about doing some lives where people can do q&as and stuff and we can do things like spokesman's club level debates. I am not a fan of hurtful debates. It's more like sit down roundhouse discussions. Even if you don't participate directly, it might be good to get some questions from you

I just checked for you. The first one of Cogwa comes out here on July 31. The seven parts will be uploaded by August 10 and the "collection" will be posted before August 15 (I'm trying to catch my content up with my TikTok side). I also just previewed the videos and I think u may be pleased. My UCG and COGWA ones weren't too biting except for my biting sarcasm and my personal issues with their finance reporting. :) (for reference I'm ex-WCG and left the UCG at the time of the COGWA split)

One of my favorite books for sure. So much to learn for those who read it. You have some things wrong in your analysis by the way. For example, they didn’t teach circumcision as a requirement in that church.

I was born into the WCG. I was circumcised. I know that a grand majority were if they were born into the cult (at least in the region I lived in. I have noticed regional differences). And we are also doing our own reading of this book on another channel. We are reading every single page. If you found it to be enlightening, then I'm happy for you. I have personally read much more enlightening books before. However, I can appreciate his use of caps and italics. He certainly was the master of caps before they were cool.

You can feel free to go there, but I am just letting you know that you will get pushback and I don't want you to have a negative experience. My content is for people who are not in the cult either having left or never having been in it. I am a Christian today, although I am not armstrongist anymore for very, very strong reasons. The other two are agnostic/atheist. As long as you are cordial in your comments, understanding that people are allowed to have different ways of thinking, then by all means feel free to peruse. The channel is apostatesisters. If you type that in the search bar it'll come up with kind of like a blue-green insignia. Let me be very clear. I have no qualms with you being inside the armstrongist way of thinking as long as you don't push beliefs on me or me on you. We can say we believe the other is incorrect. In fact, I would actually even be interested in why you think it is such a good book because I do disagree. Disagreement doesn't have to be enemy makers for us. Hope you see it the same way too. I only keep criticism to the upper echelon and I almost never say anything directly against a lower member unless they did something pretty overt. On the apostatesisters channel though, I also want to let you know that because we have rejected the modesty that the cult teaches that we let loose with a lot of things. It may not be the material for you and if that's the case, contact me again and we can have more amicable conversations in other formats.
