Easier to just replace the carburetor. Costs about $20 and 15 min to replace... Also the aftermarket one has the adjustable screw on it.

Ours was bad right out the box! What shoddy mechanics Craftsman!!! By the time we actually used it, it was too late to start a return. I hope your information helps. Thanks for sharing.

Craftsman tools and equipment or trash. Really wish they had the lifetime warranty on their leaf blowers.

I been looking for a video on this for a long time. I much appreciate the video. My coil went bad and it sat for a long time until I finally found a coil. Now she won't start at all. Guess I'm gonna try the carb trick and get some fresh gas. I definitely got fire at least now. Wish I could just buy a new carb

My husband has one of these blowers. The piece on the throttle cord that goes into the trigger broke. How do I replace the throttle cord? He's really busy working and I'd like to get the blower running right again for him. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Nice brake! 3/8" angle is pretty stiff. Do you think this would scale up to say, 24" to maybe 30" for bending sheet aluminum? Or would it need bracing mid way to ensure clamping pressure in the middle? Thanks!
@JFPSolar
@JFPSolar Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I'm certain one could extend this to at least 24" and bend sheet aluminum. It bent 18G stainless (0.048") the full length very easily and with a straight bend. It could even handle 1/8" material easier if i didn't have such a tight bending radius. It just barely fits 1/8" material, because the clamping top angle iron doesn't move back much further than about 1/8" from the hinge point. Moving the top clamp back would permit easier bending and less stress on the brake. Best of luck!

Hello, I also assemble such a scooter. the engine is from a chainsaw, solo 38 cubic centimeters. I want to ask how it moves with this gear ratio on a flat terrain or a slight backward slope. I weigh about 90kg. I write with an interpreter so I may not be very clear. See you soon
