I just bought a microfiber towel meant for drying washed cars. It works great but as I was wringing out the water, I noticed that the water is same color as the cloth. I rinsed the cloth a few times and the color is still coming out. I think I won’t use this cloth anymore, but now I’m wondering if it transfer any color to the car’s body paint? 😢

Your ceramic pro has been lifting off couple of months after installation at a certified ceramic pro installer. It’s very very annoying and inconvenient to have to take the my car and truck back to the installer to redo it for the 3rd time. Very disappointing.

Does the clear PPF protection yellow or dull out?

All I hear is excuses that it’s gonna be expensive. I don’t hear comparison and prices I don’t hear actual prices or nothing.

I thought I knew why ceramic pro PPF was expensive. But after I got my truck completely wrapped in Jan 2024 with ceramic pro PPF from A (ELITE) dealer I could have went some place a lot cheaper and gotten the same workmanship. When the prep work is done in correctly and attention to detail ignored. The end result is an unhappy customer that overpaid thousands. I have debris under my PPF in some areas and air bubbles.

Now that you have shown this, i be having nightmares about upcoming cars 🌚

I’ve been washing and waxing cars for about 50 years, and I personally love the hard work and applying/wiping off the wax. With the onset of ceramic coating(s), it sounded almost too good to be true. So I’ve done a lot of reading & research on ceramic coating and I’m still not sold on the idea of it, pretty much the same way I’m not sold on the EV craze sweeping across the country. I’ve used paste wax, liquid wax, and spray wax of which spray wax is my least favorite and produces the least desired results. Paste wax is still my favorite and I try all kinds of new ones as long as it’s paste wax.

Website says Ceramic Pro is only removable with 1000 or stronger grit sand paper. I have some polymer spotting on my ceramic pro coated car from car washes that are not easily removed short of physical agitation. If a light "finish" polish will remove those spots, can I assume that the coating will be safe given that it requires sand paper to be removed

They make a bunch of really really good ceramic infused, graphene infused, and other crazy kinds of concoctions in paste wax form now a days. That if applied correctly with the correct prep procedures done will last a year! And your 150 dollars in when all said and done!

Wax costs 30 dollars for a good tub of paste wax. That will give ya a beautiful WARMMMM gloss glow and protection for atleast 3 to 4 months, compared to spending 1500-2000 dollars, that if the shop does the correct prep, yes it will last a hell of a lot longer then wax. But I don’t have much faith in most detail shops in this day and age to not cut corners and be grimy and do everything to just get the car done and money in there pockets. So for me I’ll just stick to laying a beautiful layer of sof99 fuss coat down once every 7 or 8 months and be golden!!

Ceramic is toxic to the skin. A lot of detailers I see applying ceramic aren't wearing gloves....spraying that stuff is 💀 and inhaling it?!? No thanks. 70 plus years won't die overnight because of ceramic.

Are microfiber towels safe to use? I've done some research on them and even ordered some that had a label on the package saying they can be cancerous due to the Polyamide chemical in them. If that's true, why are we using them? And how exactly are they making people exposed to something that can cause cancer?
