The Intel Core i7 or equivalent is what 3Shape recommends.I have no additional information about their recommended speed but the faster would be better. Probably best to touch base with a 3Shape Reseller for further guidance about this. All resellers will be happy to help you with this. Having the recommended amount of memory (RAM), HDD and Video Card are also very important.

Looks like a 6700k after some more research .

Average 3000USD you should save money on the computer.the" quadro "and" xeon " series are very expensive systems. You need to get top models of these series. but with the "i9" and "rtx" you can create very powerful systems at a much more affordable price. you can access this information on my youtube channel.

Hey Wan Jye Lee! Thanks for replying. I don't have a post dam on the model in this video. I just wanted to show an example of a chrome palatal design. Ideally you should have a post dam at the junction between hard and soft palate.

Did this by using the sculpting tools in 3Shape. ( morhing, adding and smoothing)

Hi Kirby! Hope all is well! For "Create shell" settings: Thickness 2 mm.(or your own preference for thickness). Check the Remove undercuts little box. Retention amount 0.07 mm. Block out angle 0.1 deg. Check the use offset for inside surface. Offset 0.01 mm. For "Edges smoothing" set this for High. After you have created your Bar on top of your shell the "Finalization" settings: Click circle for "Subtract model". Check the box for "Remove undercuts". Retention amount 0 mm, Block out angle 0 deg. Check the box for "Use offset for inside surface".. Offset 0.01 mm.... click next.. select "Combine"..to merge shell and bar together. Hope this helps... chace T T Thanks for the nice reply. This option is available in the new 2015 Dental System software version. You can setup the order form for your custom abutment and the positioning guide at the same time and design both in the same workflow. Not available in the 2014 Dental System version.

You can set up your order form with the Anatomical gingiva.. this way you can perform a gingiva reduction in dental designer.

Thanks! Yes.. In Model Builder you can rotate the name so that it's not upside down.. I didn't do this for this upper.. I should of.. didn't realize this until you mentioned it.

I stand corrected. You can only rotate the name on the models in the Ortho Appliance module. In the regular Dental System Model Builder you are not able to do this. The name on the upper model will be upside down and there is no option to rotate it.
