As a teacher I've enjoyed many visits with Y11 & 6th form groups tramping around this beautiful countryside and making films ourselves of Hardy's settings. I adore the place, and although I live in Yorkshire consider Dorset my spiritual home. I'm hoping to visit at the end of August to introduce my 17 year-old to the landscape of Far from the Madding Crowd (his Lit topic) ! Keep up the brilliant work Garry

Great to know that Far From the Madding Crowd is on the curriculum. While you are down here, it would be great if you did a Hardy's Wessex video that we could post from a guest contributor. You know the format - just choose your favourite landscape and Hardy quote!
