Mums Etype is still on road my mate checked it up it is up in North of England UK. Mum lived in north london England uk at time she was driving up and down in it. Originally she was from beautiful island off Grenada 🇬🇩 Carribean she way ahead her time xxx

Love a Series 1 3.8 or 4.2 mad about them --- Series 2 or 3 not not all interested they were done by then for me no chance Series 1. E and an Aston DB5 my all time favs love that glass over lights man and back lights over bumpers the bollocks reminds me off my dare Mother in her 4.2 back in the day out and about shopping or out with her mate Pauline, and my mum could drive that old girl no problem my boys piss for her 😂 remember her always asking for help to take the black hardtop off. RIP Mum love ya time I see one of these straight away

It is a "wet gauge." In other words it bypasses the original oil sending unit and goes directly into the engine for a more accurate reading as the senders and original gauges were temperamental.

We repaired under the battery box on the rocker and fabricated an exact piece to repair properly. If you look at the pictures on my website at www.MotorCarTrader.com you will see how solid the car is.

Leider wird wohl bald die Babvvo vom heiligen St. Habeck die Abgasbespassung verbieten und seine neue Schlabubvvo alle fossilen Heizungen, in der Schweiz haben Grüne eine Heschlavvo ab 2025 angekündigt dann dürfen auf allen Bergpässen nur noch E Autos und speziell genehmigte Nutzfahrzeuge fahren!

According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!!

I noticed during the driving video, the OIL GAUGE NEEDLE went totally off the top end of the dial scale, and during coasting and slow driving sections of the video the needle never came back down to the normal pressure settings, is the gauge broken or is there a problem with the oil pressure sending unit or does the engine have a oiling problem ?

There is no pressure problem. It has excellent oil pressure and engine compression. It probly should have a gauge that reads more. The problem with these oil pressure gauges is that if it is too low people get suspicious and if it is too high they think there is a problem. It can be the gauge or the sender but I assure you as I have put a mnaul gauge on this car and the oil pressure is excellent and reading correctly.

I will never understand why some body work seams are left open as shown on this car, when the originals were all leaded and smoothed at the factory, just dumb amateur style inexperienced, they dont know how to do it , and it really shows on this car.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. "Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbot" in German. :-///
