I got a Denmark flag and then got an Asexual flag to cover it up and ,for anyone that looks, I wrote "ACELAND!!!" on it Due to a recent lawsuit, that is a joke I do not have a Denmark flag labeled ACELAND!!!!

"free to dress how you want to dress and not how you are expected to dress". In the free Western world you can dress however you like...outside of work and school uniforms and expectations.

While yes this is true, unfortunately there is still a lot of stigma around people who present themselves against gender norms. It’s a lot better than it was but sadly it is very much still there.

@@CAELCHIP True but a person not presenting in a typical way and calling themselves trans is not going to make them more accepted and less harassed. For example a male-boy who doesn't fit the mold and gets bullied will still get bullied if they say they are a transgirl or non-binary.

i think my favourite part is showing others that it’s okay to be yourself. i go to a religious girls school as an out trans guy, and that part sucks but i’ve seen how supportive my friends are and i’ve had so many younger kids tell me i’m doing a good job or ask me questions about myself. I can educate others who might’ve never seen a trans person that its normal and okay to be yourself.

As someone who just recently came out of my egg, it always makes me happy when I see someone still so young covering LGBTQ topics and understanding them, it really shows how normalized queer communities have gotten, when I was your age not too long ago the most I knew about anything LGBTQ+ related was gay ppl and it was still mostly derogatory stuff. sorry about the rant, I was just amazed by how good things have gotten recently 😊

This certainly is a big thing, young people having access to LGBTQ+ education is such a huge step forward. Don’t get me wrong it’s still not the best and not in every school but it’s getting there slowly. My school has equality ambassadors which I have taken part in for many years now and we run pride activities and gatherings as well as equality and diversity based education in our school. It’s so cool to see the younger students engaging whole heartedly in these activities and learning from a younger age. Wish I could have had that (I mainly found out cause of the internet) but also glad I could implement it!

Yeah everywhere is very hot rn. In the UK most of our building have no aircon and are built to retain heat and since we aren’t used to the heat it makes it very very hard to deal with. Especially with having my pc on to film and edit with my fan on my pc instead of me to make sure it doesn’t overheat.

@@CAELCHIP oh yeah that thing abt the pc is valid. and yeah i was in europe last year, spain not the UK though, but there was no AC and it sucked. my room in my house tho rn is upstairs and the ac barely works up here so i have a fan on 24/7 ;-;

To be honest I wasn’t out when I first got my hair cut so I don’t know what I would talk about. I recommend if it is not safe for you to come out that you convince them that you want it for another reason like the heat or easier maintenance

We have talked to my hairdresser about a way to do it without bleach and that is easy to dye over for back to school so it should be all good!
