Love that cover, the space the box takes up kinda stinks but I need to see it in person I guess. It would be super nice to have retractable as I currently have a tri fold and it's really kind of a pain if I need to put something big in the back but the cover is on I'm pretty stuck. I can take the cover off but it's too wide to fit in the bed without hanging over the tailgate and takes up a bit of room itself and flops around of course. Ugh.

You can not over fill a 20, 30, or 40 Pound tanks all of those come with an OPD valve other wise no one will fill them! (OPD means overfill Protection Device) along with that there is an safety release valve on those tanks. Also you don't need a scale once the liquid starts coming out of the bleeder valve it's full.

Can you have the Pro Power ON while you drive or you have to be stationary? I am thinking on a use case to charge a solar/battery generator (e.g., Ecoflow) while you drive. This way, you can power a small fridge continuously, similarly the way a modern RV does.

You can be driving and it will work or you can be parked with the truck running and it will idle up to 900rpm to keep things stable. Your idea will work great.

Yes that is correct. This machine isn't like a commercial dozer or other earth moving machine. When I have to level something I always scratch it loose with a digger or roto-tiller so it's easier to work with.

Just expensive aftermarket junk , the OEM does its job a true performance engine is a clean engine ( oil and filter ) all intakes work better in cooler weather period and I always use dri filters as oiled filters can mess up sensors starting at the mass air flow. Just buy a quality drop-in filter and save your money.

Grading with a bucket other than backdragging is a futile effort. After 600 hours on my 2038R I’ll only grade with a boxblade. Plus a single rock or root can cost you a $500 balance bar and possible a visit from the local mobile welder to section and reweld the loader that will bend before you have time to react.

Thanks for this video. I really hate this Cylinder Deactivation "feature". You can also disable Cylinder Deactivation in the later RAM 1500 5.7 by hitting your steering wheel mounted gear shift button down once (so it shows a minus sign) then hit the up button to -8. You have to do this every time you shift out of Park. I do it automatically now so it's no big deal. I have an aftermarket exhaust and CD makes an extremely annoying exhaust sound, not to mention it's hard on your engine. Good luck with your trucks y'all!

Ok look, this is actually nonsense, 2013 ford f150 3.5 echoboost super crew 4/4. With 190 thousand miles I get 20.5 mpg long drives an 18 or better in city!!!!! I don’t rely on the computer I do the math an its consist, pulling a heavy load yes it goes down no brainer!!! But to say a much newer model with a new transmission can’t achieve mine is not making sense to me! Maybe I got really lucky! My next truck will b a Chevy ! Because the ford echoboost is very powerful and great fuel efficient! However the maintenance is unreal to keep it running good vrs the good ol v8, don’t get me wrong that 3.5 is awesome, but what I spend in on the clock maintenance per miles what ford requires is much higher in cost vrs a standard v8

In my 2019 I had a folding hard cover and I noticed it was noisy when driving as it flexed with the body of the truck over changing road conditions. Have you noticed any rattles or noise coming from the retractable cover?
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse Ай бұрын
I haven't, mine has been good. The only issue I've ever had is if you let it go and it can sometimes rapidly retract to the point where when it hits the stoppers it bends the latching system. I just need to bend it back but I wish there was a better option to prevent a normal retraction situation from allowing it to damage itself.

Hi. I have a 2.4kw. Can i use my oven range and small freezer just in case of power outage?
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse Ай бұрын
An oven range is 240v on a 50-amp breaker in your home so there is no chance that would work for you on a 2.4kw inverter that is likely 120v. Just some quick math, 2.4kw is 2,400 watts divided by 120v would be a max draw of 20-amps available. Even if you had a 240v inverter would only be 10-amps so again, not a chance. The freezer is likely 120v with less than 5 amps draw so that would likely work. Consult with each items specifications to be sure. Thanks for watching!

Good trainer but I have a small question. I own a 2018 1025R with the loader and backhoe. I see from the video, my bucket is like yours. The cutting edge material is about four inches wide with one inch (bevel) exposed. From the back of the cutter to the heel of the bucket, there is a height difference of about 3/4"; the cutter is proud of the bottm of the bucket. That makes getting a flat track difficult and backdragging challenging. Good hint about supporting the bucket with the tractor instead of just floating it down then unlocking the float. Ballast is ABSOLUTELY necessary!

Thanks for the excellent video. Your place is beautiful! I just mounted this mixer on my Bobcat CT4050. I used my Speeco quick hitch with a hydraulic top link (20-7/8x31-7/8) that gives me up & down control. Leaving my 3-point fully lifted, I find that I have full up and down movement w/o any pto issues. I haven't mixed a load yet, but I must admit I'm disappointed in your stated capacity which is way under the advertised amount. The 350 was listed as having a .48 yard capacity. It's still way better than a wheel barrel, though...
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse Ай бұрын
That's how I felt, I thought it would hold more when I purchased it but am pleased with it still. If I fill it too full it just spills out and also sometimes doesn't mix the best down at the bottom of the drum. I find that 1/6 of a yard is a good batch size. Good luck!
@artillerybuff2000
@artillerybuff2000 Ай бұрын
@danimalshouse 1/6 of a yard is only 4.5 cubic feet. If that's accurate, that's less than the little portable Ryobi 5.0 cu. ft. mixer sold at The Home Depot for under $350! Now I really feel bummed! Could have purchased four of those for the price of one of these tractor pto mixers! Mine actually looks like it tips up higher than yours, perhaps I'll be able to get a whopping 1/4 yard in it 🤔

Why do you place the windrows on the uncut grass. We go the other direction and clean up after the first scalp and again after second scalp.
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse 2 ай бұрын
I do it because my sweeper leaves a small thin layer on the ground when the grass is cut super short. When I set the sweeper higher and take it off of the uncut grass it seems to pick up better. Also, I like to work on the uncut grass with the truck and tractor so potential tracks are avoided by the heavier machines. Otherwise there isn't any other reason, just preference really. Awesome! Quick question. Do you think you’d be able to get away with using a smaller electric motor?
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse 2 ай бұрын
I think maybe 1/3HP would work but it depends on the leverage you end up with on the final design. I didn't calculate forces or torque in my creating the crusher, I just put it together and hoped it would work. Someone suggested a flywheel to me once and I thought that made a lot of sense because it would create a lot of rotational inertia for when the plunger hits the can. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Thank you for the video. If I go with 1” pipe throughout the house, it looks like that would ensure I have enough, even if I add on an outside grill in the future. My home system will be similar to yours. I’d just rather skip out on reducing pipe size. That would work right? Also, what size pipe are you running from your stage 1 to the stage 2 at the house? My tank is is going to be about 10-20 feet from my stage 2 at the home. Thanks again for the video.
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse 2 ай бұрын
For me in my area, the propane regulator at the tank knocks pressure down to 10psi for the underground piping to the house. Usually the underground pipe is 3/8" or 1/2" because it's at a higher pressure. Then at the house it gets regulated down to 11"-13" water column for the appliances. At that point most homes have 1" pipe running like you suggested you want to do. You can reduce if you want based on a pipe sizing chart but it won't matter if you leave it oversized at 1". Good luck!

Will the 2kw Pro Power run a side by side fridge?
@danimalshouse
@danimalshouse 2 ай бұрын
2kw will provide 16-amps max and a side by side fridge likely uses less than 5 amps, so yes. Remember you have to have the truck running for generator mode to work though so a fridge may not be an ideal item to use the inverter for. Good luck!
