What's the max range of the base stations? Just wondering how large a volume space I can have. 8-)

With 4 base stations you can have 10m x 10m as maximum. Please noted this is the space size for camera moving not limited to stage size.

the image from the camera is coming upside down in the camera calibration tool, so t fails to calibrate. is there anyway to fix this? im running the latest software.

I'm not sure if I understand the Point A and Point B position movement. I understand having to do it each time you set it up but what is the distance between A and B? What is the purpose of doing it?

The team is evaluating, but currently, the setting will be reset after rebooting CamTrack.

Excellent! Can the FIZTrack encode data to mars while in motor mode? So while using the motor to pull focus the lens data is still transmitted to Mars Camtrack

as i remember you can search and find VIVE ‘Tracker’ from engine content / plug-in content. but i’m not sure where to fine Rover but i think you can just scale basic box actor at the right size and attach it

BTW,small question, doesn't it says in the manual that the arrow on the Origin-Rover has to be pointed to the Camera!? In this video that wasn't done.

Which online manual you refer to? to perform the recenter function, only a single Rover and Tracker are required. The primary objective is to reset the coordinate system of the VIVE Mars CamTrack.

Do you have two identical, vivefizz encoders and you’re using one for focus and one for zoom? Do you think it’s possible to use the VIVE fiz encoders without the rover? Without axisymmetry? Or do you need everything together?

without aximmetry yes but you need unreal or a compatible software with livelink. Also the fiz motors only can send data through the rovers

Can you skip the Camera Calibration tool step, and directly create a lens file with the Unreal Engine Camera Calibration plugin?

If you want to skip VIVE Mars calibration tool and manually create UE lens file in your project(in Content browser -> right mouse button -> Miscellaneous -> Lens File) to control FIZTrack, you can reference similar steps here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nISbo2akmKxjpdE .

I have one question. Where are you doing your color grading? Do you grade the green screen footage in Unreal and then render out final shots? Or do you bring the green screen footage and virtual backgrounds into other software like Davinci Resolve and grade the layers independently? Oh and one more small question... if you grade in Unreal, what tools do you use in Unreal Engine to do that?

Color grading is almost always done after the fact because it give ls you more control over the final shot. Why would you want to bake in the color and lighting of your shots? You won't be able to tweak anything.
