This is North Macedonia, it is located north of Macedonia which is in Greece. A few years ago it was called Jugoslavia. Until 1912 it was part of the Ottoman Empire. Before that it was part of the Roman Empire. And before that, in antiquity, the area was called Paionia, not Macedonia. Ancient Paeonia was annexed by the ancient kingdom of Macedon and was named "Macedonian Paeonia". This was a short, free of charge, history lesson.

@@tatjanavelkova5814 Pella is in GREECE, NOT in Skopje :-) Come visit Pella, Philippi and Vergina. They are in GREECE. The mother of Alexander was Greek named Olympias, not some Slav woman Tatjanova, Danica or Bogdana!

i lived in north macedonia.I know the truth.Language comes from kirill and methodius.Root of the people is 90% slavs,albanian and greeks with past communist history.There is no connection between slavs and greek makedonian.This is the History .The outcome of all this is misunderstanding that comes from politics.North macedonia is a too much big gift name from greece usa and eu.
