Yes, depending on the units. These guys are attached to two Tank companies and will do a Company CALFX with the battalion and the rest of 3rd Brigade

I’ve actually met cooks in the army that genuinely loved it. Me personally I could never do it.

@@thisguy1868 Trust ne they were cooks and worked in the Warrior Restaurant. It's not called a DFAC anymore. Doing this video, found a lot of 92G's that actually loved it. Like I said before I couldn't do it.

@@DiZZiEntertainment it's called a "warrior restaurant" to put lipstick on the pig. Making the dining facilities consolidated like they are now is one of the things that drove this horrible mos into the ground. I stand by what I said. Anyone that says the like this mos is either lying, being forced to say it, doesn't work in the dfac, or simply works in a dfac with a low headcount and gets weekends, holidays, Donsas, off.

It depends on the unit and duty station, I was in 10th Mountain Division Light Infantry, and Field Artillary Units in Germany and Ft Lewis, While at Ft Drum we deployed to Camp Lejuene or Geiger? With the Marines Infantry after Basic Training there AIT, not sure what they call it, but there cooks had 3 shifts like this unit. Now with 3 shifts, there cooks had 3 4day weekends off every month and would get a day off during the week, So if they worked Mon and Tues then off Wednesday, work Thur and Fri and off Sat and Sun and Mon. Lots of time off that you can have if you have 3 different shifts. Now My units were always deployed, long shift hours, tons of PT, Lived in the Field. I realized that i would make way more money working 2 full time jobs and paid for them.

I don't want to ruin the attempt at trying to make this MOS not sound that bad... but trust and believe me when you hear that yes, this MOS arguably is one of the absolute worst MOS in the military.
