There's a clip on youtube you can easily find where Dan expresses how much he enjoys playing this song because it's their big hit and bands he watched when he was younger were always "too cool to play their hit" and how he hated it. Truly a man who appreciates his fans.

The Red Rocker! I saw ZZ Top in '84, I was thirteen, the opening act was Sammy! He played for about an hour, and then he called Brad Delp and Tom Shultz out (Boston), and they rocked a Zep set... it was amazing. I'll never forget it.

Rather old-school rock concert with the roadies escorting the band members to their positions by flashlight. That just increased anticipation in the fans for what we all waited to be a bombastic opening song.

You can re-create red rocks for yourself, all you need to do is buy a $18 beer, and find a park with many stairs and climb them up until you get to the top feel exhausted and drink
