How do you set the float level on those? I’m rebuilding a set of carbs for an 81 LTD 1000, I’ve set the level at 18.6 mm per spec but the fuel level is too low when checked externally with a clear tube held against the float bowl

Dear Carl, In this vlog you started again with the same impossible shirt as in the previous vlog 😀. The look of the 1984 Kawasaki KX80 Is okay. The sound of the running engine is okay. By acceleration of this bike the engine seems to loose power but when she finally runs she looks like a smoke machine 😀. I hope you’ll cover these 2 disadvantages. On behalf of my wife WIlleke as well I wish you, Christine and all the rest of your both family already a very Happy New Year in prosperity but above all in a good health plus I send you love from The Netherlands

The 1984 KX80 brings back memories. Two of my friends (brothers) had one each brand new in 84. That cylinder was sleeved. The cylinders were originally chrome lined, Kawasaki called it Electrofusion. They would last a long time if the filter was clean & did not let the rings get too worn.
