I've just had to coral my mustang for this same issue to get a bit of a handle on it. I ride her and use her for riding lessons for children. I have spoke with her, done energy work with her but she's a gluten for the yummy stuff. Not thought of the straw feeding. Thank you for the info! Sending much love and light to you, yours and the herd ❤️

Yeah, I thought that Posa, Zorra and one or two other horses were looking ouchy. I thought it might be the terrain being muddier or something else.

Does it snow where you are? It looks a warmer climate. Love watching the horses run together with all that space. Thanks for sharing ❤

I used to do this with my herd, especially in the eyeenings. You are correct, it took a while but I got to a place where I knew where they all were and what was going on. I did, however, have a gelding, my favorite riding horse, that di look out for me.

Cobra is doing well - very happy that winter has arrived and the bugs have gone away! He was particularly attacked as a result of having the cows on the land. We will not be having cows again!

You have no idea about horses. You're the predator and they're the prey, so if you don't behave like the boss, they'll boss you around. Severely.

If they were in the wild, no one would remove them the burrs. I wonder, do they eat some parts of the plant? The root extract is used in hair tonics in my country.
@ListenToYourHorse25 күн бұрын
They might eat the tips of the leaves in early spring. Otherwise the plant is very bitter. So the only other reason they might eat it, is if they needed the medicine. It is one of the BEST detox agents for liver, kidneys, spleen, gallbladder and lymph. I extract the roots into a tincture for this reason.
