@sethbullock37722 ай бұрын
Not made specifically for it, no. But, it's lighter, deeper, more compact and has the means to hang the main one over a fire as a bonus. It also provides very good protection for whatever you put inside it. As it's smaller than a standard mess tin, there's also some extra space in the E&E pouch too.

Great explanation and brought back a number of memories. I thought that I had arrived when I got my first cargo strap belt whilst attending the LRRP School! Bit puzzled by the yoke though. I never saw anyone wearing one in my six years. Surely one disadvantage is that you have to remove your bergen before you can remove your belt kit?
@sethbullock37725 ай бұрын
I suppose the yoke was created just as an extra support for carrying heavier loads in belt kit, or, indeed, to stop a heavy bergen from pushing the belt kit down when on the move, which is very uncomfortable. It's also a lot more slimline than a 58 pattern yoke! They're a doddle to remove, or, to just slip off, when not carrying a bergen and in patrol order.

390 on a m100. Lol I actually bought a m4 that was doing 430 on a m100. I ended up short stroking it. For full stroke I would need a m85. I'm planning on getting this gun for outdoors. 430 fps isn't changing. The USA doesn't have any fps regulations since airguns and airsoft guns aren't firearms. If it's not broken don't fix it. Although it should be like any other Ak, I heard it's a long winded process and you have to remove the gb to access the qc spring. Lmg's can go up to 450 at my field. Everyone else above 350 is semi only. Essential a dmr which is why I downgrade assault rifles to 350. It only makes sense to go higher for a dmr.

@grumpyoldairsofter73052 жыл бұрын
I suppose anything is possible if you've got the right tools. But, you'd need to put some slack in the wiring if you intend to still be able to fold the stock. It's got the same layout as other LCT guns with folding stocks, ie, it's pretty tight at the rear of the gearbox, especially with the way the top cover slots over the rear of the receiver as well, which limits the number of ways to reroute wiring outside of the gun without chopping or grinding bits off.

@grumpyoldairsofter73052 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with Cyma's at all, I've owned loads of them. But, when you hold one next to an LCT, where the extra money goes is immediately apparent. If you do one day skirmishes, go for the Cyma but, if you do a bit of milsim, the LCT is worth the investment as a "real world" LMG and, for the extra durability of the externals.

No issues with mine at all, in fact, quite the opposite, it's all still as tight as a tight thing. You should check everythnig is in place properly and, also tightened up correctly. Great video! In order to deal with the battery space, my tech ran the wiring through the stock to a digi flora battery pouch attached to the side of my LCK-12. Did your LCK-16 come with LCT magwell spacer pre-installed like my LCK-12 did? I'm curious, because I finally got my hands on a D-Day AK-12 mag and I'm having feeding issues. I remembered that in your previous video you showed that you shimmed your mags to make it feed and I want to recreate that.
@grumpyoldairsofter73054 жыл бұрын
Yes, the magwell spacer was already fitted when I received it, which was a nice touch. I definitely recommend shimming the D-Day magazines, it's really easy to do and, it doesn't take long either. The trick is to use a needle file to roughen the contact surfaces first before using a spot of superglue to hold the shim in place and, when it's set, use the file again to fine tune it. Using this method, none of my shims have ever fallen off.

I find with my LCT's everything's massively tight and stiff to begin with, that top cover release might get a bit easier over time, although having said that after 3 years my AKMS stock is about as stiff still as when it was new, so maybe not.
@grumpyoldairsofter73054 жыл бұрын
At least I know it won't fall out I suppose! The tolerances on it are all very good, the scope does not lose zero if you remove the top cover. One of the body pins actually fell out pre game, which I forgot to mention in the video. I had to put a spot of superglue on it to keep it in. I've had the same thing happen with M4 receiver pins on higher end guns.

I'll just run it stock, because it ticked all of the boxes. I mostly fire short bursts anyway, to provide suppression, so rate of fire isn't really that important. It also means less wear on the internals. If I ever did go down the 11.1v route, I'd put a mosfet in it first I think.
